I think some of you have the wrong impression of Monday night training We all pretty much train on our own, just near others! But chats afterwards are always nice
-
I say give him to Ptolomy to help her get over her drool phobia
-
I think most "mothers" do this, even with human kids! Mum used to get our 3 names as kids mixed up, and couldn't understand how! Now I see I'm always like "Ruby! I mean Millie! No I mean Chloe! Oh whatever your name is then, get here!"

The chat is the best bit about Monday nights and it was great to meet you, your mum and the kids. Maybe we need to stick all the kids names in a hat and that who we take into Rally. That would make life VERY interesting. Nope no drool my clothes - WHEW I like that idea! I think we all wanna pull a red kid's name outta the hat It's good experience handling other people's dogs vCBR, you can put one of my ratbags through rally next week if you want. They won't work as great as the red kids but I would be interested to see if they work for you! They're anybodies if you have treats

Let me know if you order some and where from, I would be interested in one too and maybe we could split postage

What? You have to think of these things!!! what hope have I got...... Lara,Scoota,Beans,Lexi,Cider,Strauss No wonder I drink red wine before I go training The "rules" start getting relaxed a bit when you have so many you need to call them a flock! ;)

Sounds like what happened with me 2 girls to choose from, breeder keeping one, I wanted the lighter female. But, I got the darker one So glad I did now though And she didn't turn out so dark afterall ;) I did get to meet them though, twice before bringing my girl home. My next pup I may well get from interstate and hopefully I will get to pick from photos and have the breeder also recommend which one would be best for me

Well are you going to share your creative ideas with us? I have a dog who still thinks sitting is optional on occasion, as long as she doesn't move off the spot

No I tried that last time and the postage kept going up, it wasn't a flat rate, that's why I sopied RS and did the $7.95 thing. I might make a Croquembouche ! Not Oh come on, looks EASY!!! I'm surprised you were able to spell it!

How weird is that! I looked it up and it said it was Hebrew for Gazelle which I thought was fitting given the way she was bouncing last night... typical aussie! I like all the meanings anyway I'm stuck between Aylah and Dakota - some like one more than the other... argh... can't decide!! LOL! Aylah rolls off the tongue better when you're calling her, and chances are you will somehow find a way to shorten Dakota and it will stick! The only thing is when you introduce your dogs to people, you will get tongue tied if you say them in the order of Aylah, Leo and Kinta. The two L's so close together will roll into one another Introduce in age order and you'll be fine

How cute was Lexi, working hard with vcbr in her own little rally world

Yes the joys of having boy dogs So what is everyone going to bring on Sunday? I can make choc chip biscuits... or con my Mum into making ANZAC biscuits ETA: Or muffins of many different varieties Seeing I'm coming along, I will see if I can bake something. I should probably bake for Sat, too, as it could be a long one! Your biccies were yummy last time, I vote those! My baking range is limited, so I might do brownies again.

If you only want to order jump cups, you can contact them and they will quote you an envelope price. The system only calculates for a box of stuff, but jump cups can fit in an envelope. I think I was charged $7.95 postage for 2 packs of jump cups. When you check out, you just note that you were quoted your price for posting in an envelope. They initially charge you the full postage, but when they actually go and process it, the smaller amount is deducted. It was more along the lines of well if $32 if the flat rate I might add... I'm trying to save you money by only buying what you need!

Aylah is pretty. I want a name that doesn't end in "ie" or "y" (for that same sound at the end) for my next dog. I had Mia and Ava on my list before Millie came along, but her original name was Lily so I didn't use one of my other choices. Now those names don't appeal to me as much, plus other Aussie owners here on DOL have since come along and "stolen" them When I get my pretty little Aussie, I will probably need to make a post like this to get some ideas! I do really like Aylah for your girl

Well it often rains there and not here We had enough rain (over about 30 mins) to reform our puddles Hopefully we will get more this week then a nice fine Sunday And I might even be nice and ask for Saturday morning to be nice for RS too I don't want it so nice it's warm, brisk would be nice, just dry!!

I have one of them too AD is after ADM (36 ADM dogs so low too). There is 1 x 200 dog and then you for AD (1st of 2x300 dogs) JDX (15) is after JDO (29 dogs). You are 1st in JDX (so get to show us how it is done ) and there are 3 x 300 dogs Since you are on second in each ring do you want us to get your numbers so you can have a slight sleep in? :p Oops I was too slow. Nah it's okay I want to get a gazebo spot anyway, and it starts pretty late but thanks anyway! I'm glad it's on Sunday so I can bake on Saturday! You should drop by obedience on Sat to reserve your spot for Sunday, and bring baked goods with you I'll probably come along on Sunday, for several reasons. Main one being I can't resist your baked goods Others are I wanna meet Strauss and I might work Ruby around the distractions!
-
Oh the joy of owning a boy dog am I right? That someone else can get your numbers and you just rock up right before being expected in the ring?! I have females that need to be vetted so gotta be there early enough to get my own numbers And what sucks is, they are both desexed, and one is on the Associate Register which means she HAS to be desexed to be allowed on that register yet she still needs to be vetted!

My dad and my rescue girl, Millie. He adores her something cronic, and wants me to let her live with him Because of her, and the fact that he can't have her, he wants his own rescue Lab. This coming from a man who didn't really like dogs much when we were growing up, and even though we had dogs, they were always toy breeds. Millie has converted him!

You just like to torture me I think I'm going to have to pop by your house to meet your gang next time I am in Melb!

They look good. I could be wrong but they do look like the beds you can buy in Kmart for about the same price. They come wrapped in a bag. The stuffing is just cheap wadding type stuff, but more than suitable for your average bed destroyer when you don't want to spend big bucks
-
OMG she is just too cute!! You're not helping my Aussie puppy cluckiness

Gabrielle? Audrey? (Hepburn who plays Gabrielle in Paris When It Sizzles) I dunno, I'm bad at names
