  1. popsicle, join in, mine are just ordinary mundane everyday things that happen in my life, they're not arty or special effects. come on in.
  2. He was taken by aliens and he has the pictures to prove it. well, you have anyway
  3. awwww it's so cute. I am glad you said about the babies having big eyes. I've just started getting baby King parrots coming here and I thought their eyes looked bigger, then I though I must just be imagining it.
  4. OK, I missed these! Anyone know which post they were in? I found some milkshakes for today, but no beach and I want to see! I think she means yours and Poocow, I dont like your spider!!!!!
  5. good job jayC. Love the green leaves, it's not a elm but that's what it reminds me of, what sort of tree is it?
  6. You are definitely most welcome, there's all sort of cameras and all levels of skill and experience here. Post away!!
  7. I'd planned on trying for another moon shot but I couldn't resist my gorgeous Kibah in raptures over her banana. Blissssss 1/1600 f 4.5 ISO 400 75mm
  8. Oh no, sorry to hear your camera is sick! Hope it's not the dreaded fungus. we should start sending get well cards to your camera. Hope you get it back soon.

  11. thanks Megan, it's the beautiful lens, because you can isolate subjects to bring them so sharp and clear. I love it.
  12. I just took a pic of the moon! ;) I wish I had a more powerful lens Canon 400d 1/500 f5.6 ISO 400 lens 75-300mm fully zoomed
  13. Just want to say I am sorry for not commenting on everyones photos individually but I have to say you're all an inspiration!
  14. You even make laundry look interesting Kristin, me, it would just look like laundry. Here's my same old same old contribution, more birds. I dont like cockies coming here cause they eat the house. I chase them off if I can so this one is wary of me.
  15. Yep the first looks overdone but I love the composition of it and the silvereye. actually I like them all. the first two would make pretty cards.
  16. what's the data on this one. I'm still trying to get some good action shots with it. oh, forgot to say, it's really good!
  17. Got mine done early today, Apple Wars. I've bought an enormous box of seconds apples, enough for all and more but still they cause tension. Tag is guarding some of the apples, still lots more in the fridge, and Penny is testing his nerve by taking one. She is dominant over him but she's still a bit cautious and you can see he's not happy about loosing one of his precious apples. You should see their poo this morning, if it wasn't so gross I'd take a pic of that too. Big mushy, bulky half digested apple stools. 1/125 f 1.8 ISO 200 500mm
  18. It just takes me to the deviant art sign up page. For your next photos, perhaps take something a bit less (possibly) offensive so that you can post it here like everyone else
  19. wonderful photos everyone. I am not feeling too inspired today plus I was busy. this is a pic of Puck sunning himself. I'd just been to the apple orchard and bought a big box of seconds for $5 there's about 15kilos there at least but they all still think they have to guard their apples. that's what he's doing out there. canon 400d 1/800 f 5.6 iso 200 lens 300mm
  20. Poor little duckie, it looks so frightened, like it's taken refuge in the trees for safety.
