It would be very expensive for only a couple weeks or so and likely stressful for the dog, I wouldn't do it. SNAP Rebanne

What Constitutes A "pit Bull Terrier"

Now that's what I call a gorgeous dog look at those eyes.. -
I'd avoid the park for now too just in case. It could have been some training bits someone had leftover and threw on the ground, could have been covered by a bird or something. Having said that if it's what is commonly used for baiting just be careful.

This. :) Keep the meat just in case and if you take the dog to the vet take it with you so they can look at it.

Advice On A Breed For Our Lifestlye (found)
Dame Aussie replied to JackC's topic in General Dog Discussion
I agree, very happy with Koda, from what I have seen so far is one of the quieter and less hyper puppies in the litter, there are some blue girl tri's in there that are all over your face when you come over haha. hoping to go see him this weekend and get some day time shots outside. Watch out...our Aussie was the quieter one in the litter and by about 12 weeks she was the devil! your puppy is beautiful, congrats :) -

Why Is It Funny For A Dog To Be Aggressive
Dame Aussie replied to lovemesideways's topic in General Dog Discussion
Unbelievable. I think I would have slapped her  We've had the same thing happen. If the dog gets close enough to bite it gets a kick and owner gets told under no uncertain terms, to control their dog. I'm just completely over it after having it happen so many times. Its been mainly small dogs in my experience but I think that's only because there seems to be more around than large dogs where I am. Agree that it doesn't matter about size anyway. -
I didn't see it but I remember the thread. Still gives me chills.

I didn't know that about WA ricey, might have to get myself over there! I prefer a smaller, more lean and agile APBT, but also appreciate the boofers :) -
As a vegan myself, I don't force my choices onto my pets so they eat meat, but I must say they don't mind a bit of tofu..... as long as it's been marinating in something yummy

Me neither. May be stupid but I would have at least tried to get them off him. I wouldn;t judge someone for not helping though if they were frightened. Agree the son could have done something too, instead of just listen to soemone screaming and then judge others for doing what he did!

You terrible, negligent dog owner :  Seriously though, this is all getting quite laughable now.....certainly turned me off ever breeding, I agree woth Lili, BYB and you'll have nothing to worry about.

Front Attaching Harness - Neoprene?
Dame Aussie replied to bianca.a's topic in General Dog Discussion
We've been havin this issue with our boy too, will check out that harness! -
Yes, as crap as it is, I agree with this. If I were them I'd be getting a lock on the gate. If my dog had killed another dog I wouldn't want to have it in my household. What a silly comment. Action should be taken when necessary. What's so silly about my comment? Where did I say I'd keep a dog that had killed another dog? Where did I say no action should be taken?Try reading next time. I was merely pointing out the fact that as both dogs were out, the council likely won't punish only one owner.

Fussy Dogs - My Thought Ponder For The Day
Dame Aussie replied to a topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
We had two Chi x siblings from the same litter, they were both starvos..... So was our Boxer.... Lili my Aussie is a starvo, will eat ANYTHING and will do ANYTHING for food. Mosley isn't like that, although he will eat anything given to him, he's just not as desperate about it, although when he was a puppy we used to have to scatter his food he'd eat it that quickly  So yeah, all my dogs are pigs  I don't think it has to do with any specific thing really, down to the dogs personality would be my guess. Interesting though. -
Glad your dogs are ok! Is it an off lead area?

I agree with others, my Aussie shepherd gets grumpy with puppies that have no manners, she is a very polite girl with other dogs and she doesn't appreciate puppies jumping up in her face. It's easy for me to handle as we don't use dog parks but if you really have to go there, I would do as others said and tell people to either control their pup or remove her from the situation yourself.
