Top breed you have yourself there I love these guys !! Let them be babies , try to stack with one word as in Stand only for a few seconds and then reward them with a pat or a treat , make sure the pat or treat is longer than the stack, just try a couple of times a day, if they move a leg keep your hand touching that leg and repeat "Stand".... Do not try to stack them all the time they will come to it when they are ready, judges understand they are babies have fun with these guys !!!

OH my goodness I would die without my catalogue I love to have a read (with a coffee) before the show starts, I mark some breeds and take it home and have another look !!! Then I bin them !!! Yep love my catalogue, I order one at every show I go to , even it is a 3 day show I get one each day !!!

I will repeat my story but I do have a million of them and I have only been stewarding a short time... Exihibitor :: Steward my dog has relieved themselves clean it up, its over there (at this time I was getting the next class ready) Steward :: So you want me to clean up after your dog?? IS that what you want?? Exhibitor :: Well you are getting paid to do it. Steward :: Yes your Royal Highness I am a mere servant here to service you :p BTW yes you get paid to steward but most of the time you give it back to the club, and it is not a fortune or worth it !! Also to answer your thought I gave her the pooper Scooper and said clean up your own dogs mess I am busy !!!!! ;) She cleaned it up with a clap from the crowd !!!!!

I agree with you Auto... All stewards need a pat on the back, it is not an easy job and I am sure they would like to be socializing and having a good time like everyone else... But they have given up that time to steward, they keep the ring running, look after their judges and pick up the poo from the rings, yet they still wear the abuse from the special some !!! :D :D :D :D I think ALL stewards need a 5 thumbsup and please remember what sort of job it is when you get a little angry at your steward !!! Would be good to hear from a few that have stewarded and what things have been said to you !!! LIKE ::: You are getting paid for this (This was from an exhibitor that needed poo picking up) My answer:: Yes your Royal Highness I am but a humble servant !!

I can see some great wins coming your way !! He is a very nice boy, there is something about a flat coat, I love them so out going !!

I believe camping on the grounds are very good with all camps having power and I know the shower block is perfect with lots of hot water... The camp sites are across from the rings so just perfect...... But yes Sandy I know the Barclay gardens motel is a good place to stay also........

Getting a little away from me BUT maybe next year I will do a little travelling (don't know why) just to get to all these shows that people really enjoy.. Maybe meet up with afew friends and do a little bunch of shows that we have not done before......

For all the info Morsha, was it your Jap Spitz that got RUIG ?? If so well done !! Sounds like nearly same dogs went up each day, Ho Hum now thats boring !!!!

I know it it that time of the year when so much is going on after Christmas and the New Year, now the Royals and Breed specials shows.. But just wanted to remind everyone about Corowa & Deniliquin x 2 held at Albury closes in March but everyone forgets with the Royal being in early April... It really is a busy start to the show year !! This is a 3 day show held at the wonderful Equestrian Centre !!!! Can anyone else think of a show we may forget to enter, at this time of the year ???

don't know dogs names but it was Vicki Dwyers Peke & Esther Joseph's Pug.... today (Saturday) Best in Group was the Cavalier .. Ch Dapsen In It To Win It don't know any other results sorry - just got a text message from my friend after her Best in Group win Thanks for that Dellcara, and congrats to your friend with the Cav, a lovely BIG win good luck for BIS......

NSW Rules & Regulations GENERAL Section 1 1:15 Any bitch that is more than six weeks pregnant is not permitted to be on any showground during the commencing 24 hours before the scheduled starting time..... 1:16 Any puppy under the age of 8 weeks is not permitted to be on any showground during the period commencing 24 hours before the scheduled starting time of any show. I personally wouldn't show a pregnant bitch but for those that want to , I am sure would not put the bitch in any danger !! So far all my litters have been planned matings so I don't enter if I have mated a bitch , if it turns out they are not in whelp, so what it is just another show !! But I have witnessed bitches heavy in whelp being shown and I have also witnessed a litter being delivered in the back of a station wagon at a show!! Some people will not miss a show at any costs.............

Gee Sammi that is a toughy some love it other loathe it............all my Pugs travel in the trailer with no problem as it is like they know they are with you if that makes any sense... But I started of with very short trips, or just letting them sit in it, in the yard and feed them in there, so they knew there was nothing to worry about!! Good Luck it is just like anything else once they are use to it then it is part of it all..... Oh one thing I did to to one of mine was they loved their crete and didn't mind going in it at all so I put the crete in the trailer for the first couple of trips.....
