l had the same problem as you so i went out and came back after a very short time and repeated this till they stopped there barking/ crying. Must say it took quite a few times to get the results i wanted. Your neibours a gem ld be thanking them very very much for letting you know whats going on. As for the barking at your neibour when she moves in her home id place a bark control collar on them whilst i was away Good luck Great neiibour the fines could be way more than a cure .

Wellington Shire Council In Sale, Gippsland, Victoria
mortonplace replied to toy dog's topic in General Dog Discussion
i never took notice of this bit you wrote. i think it would have been the ranger Gary at the time to be the one who told you? the same person who doubledup as a traffic officer in wellington so no he would not have known the difference. so why didn't you plead your case to them to let them know of the difference when you had contact with them now a kevin burge is the ranger and service officer/traffic officer, the same person who went to the RSPCA forum on puppy farms and stated the farms in gippsland are bad and we monitor them, the same speal he gave me a few days ago on email. it was then brought to the attention that wellington have not been doing audit reports on these farms for 5 years as all the pages were BLANK. i have not had a chance to have a dialogue with this new service/traffic officer replacing gary so i don't know what his views are. but i do know one thing, whoever told you that in wellington shire are making themselves out to be very ignorant and even a little bit uneducated if they think just because the farms operate in this area and people dont want them complain, that that is directly related to a person that is registered with dogsvictoria. they have dogsvictoria on the registrations so they are aware of our organisation. They have now after the lenths i went to i will PM you and tell you what i have to say,as i dont want it on a pulic forum -
Wellington Shire Council In Sale, Gippsland, Victoria

I don't think you're going to get far arguing about genetics. 'People' like cross breeds. A lot of people want the characteristics of more than one breed. You'll never get people just buying pure breeds. There will ALWAYS be a market for cross-bred dogs (and I think to an extent that there is a place for them. After all, if no dogs had ever been cross bred, most of the breeds that we see today wouldn't be in existence This above quote by Joel is the point here i feel... l live in Gippsland and my shire is Wellington shire . l have pure breds only a pemit for 10 dogs but want to increase it so i can keep older dogs also without rehomeing them because of the number issue. Now if people bombard the shire about puppy farms it makes it very very difficult for people like me to get another permit. l think TOYDOGS you need to specify the cross breeding issues and the over breeding of the x breed dogs for petshop issues for sure. The shire dosent know the differnce between puppy farms and breeders whom have pure bred dogs that are reg with dogsvic and council and have both of them to answer to.They just see the aplication wants to keep extra dogs. They think were all the same..l was told this last year tof his after the council got bombarded with letters and raids and to be honest it cheezed me off lt caused me not to be able to apply lm about to try again and here i see its going to happen again bombarded with letters from people that dont like puppy farms.l have no issues with the bomardment but please do repeat what you call a puppyfam so they know the diffrence.MAYBE TARGET CERTAIN FARMS..Little steps do work you know The way the laws are changeing anyway x breeding will be breed out it may take a few years but it will happen[desexing unreg dog laws before reg] Also thought id add this shire has closed down 8 farms the last few years..So there is progress happening gippsland had heaps more farms this time 3/4 years ago belive me -

Poor little pup As a vet nurse myself I've heard some shite come from the mouths of other nurses. Had a client come in the other day asking for advice about buying a purebred from a registered breeder vs just buying one of the same breed from the paper. This particular nurse came out with "it doesn't matter at all. The only difference between a backyard bred dog and one from a registered breeder is that one has papers. That's it" ;) I butted in and had a good chat to the client and (hopefully) he is now headed for an ethical registered breeder. Must agree lve heard some real stupid comments come out of the mouth of a person[so called vet nurse] that should atleast know better. Read a thread on another site all the posters were vet nurses and here they were sprouting how they breed x bred mutts l think the job goes to some of there heads and then think they know better than the breeders. As for this pup maybe it was better off without these people

L Sold A Dog I Owned For 3 1/2 Years
mortonplace replied to mortonplace's topic in Breeders Community
l rang the vet and they wont tell me anything without her permission She wont give it either...To be honest im lucky i got the report it took a few reg letters to get it. She died approx 1 mth after -
Hi all lm hopeing you can help me read between the lines here To cut a long story short i sold a bitch i owned for 3 1/2 years to a pet home l interveiwed sevral people and deicied the home i picked was the best possible home[how wrong i was] Anyway approx a mth later i get a letter [reg post] from this person demanding i give her the replacement cost of the dog plus the cost of a vet fee accured whilst she was alive[as she needed a operation]lm keeping this story very short as not to give to much evidince away. Anyway l demanded an aurtopsy[when rudely told by another person of the death] and finally got one[mth later] and its states.......the dog was found dead in the new owners backyard[this dog was sold as an indoor dog] and because of the condition of the body examination was limited???? then it states there was no abvious cause of death What do you think that means????lm very upset and confused as to waht to think l feel she may have died from fulid on her lungs if she was left outside[it was freezeing the mth she had her. Plus there were another 2 dogs in her yard i wasnt told about.[this bitch was very smal weight 7 kgs and very fine coated] And this bitch never slept a night outdoors. So please give me how you would read the aurtopsy results as i smell a rat.

Advice For Helping Puppy Recover From Dog Attack
mortonplace replied to thommomac's topic in General Dog Discussion
Aww poor young man Sid l hope he recovers soon. l think it will take time for him to want to trust another dog again. Do you own another dog? ld try him with a puppy once ready and like others have said get pro advice also. Thats so sad as Frenchies really dont forget things fast Poor little mite l hope he gets well soon fingers crossed for him, you and your hubby that would have been horifying -
To be honest I'm not sure, all I know is what has been done previously or what I've been told. Maybe I need to ask questions on why some not all Bulldog breeders don't let the tie happen. l think its more the case that certain bulldogs can't tie a bitch. The reason's normally there to heavy or just cant get there[try but get all puffed out]

Pure flith and disgust Them poor dogs When are councils going to come to terms breeding on a large scale is sheer crulety?? No one can claim to be able to look after this amount of dogs nor justify why they need to breed?? The nights have been so very very cold them poor dogs would be freezeing and each and every night would be so hard on them People like this need to be made to feel the same as there dogs...Horrid freaks... lm sure the team will get them sorted soon enough sometime takes a long time but they really do try
