  1. Yep ;) Plus you will get to see the DVD of the Brittany show and point out to me everything I miss
  2. Is that when you (and ST?) go away for your big trip? So are you still looking for a room to rent when you get back? ST isn't coming (she wishes ;) ) It's when I am off to the states with some non dog people. Hmmm not sure about the room now every time I think of moving further then 7 mins away from work it seems too hard ;)
  3. I didn't get mine either RS It's boring anyway, since I am away from November 19th - December 12th I miss almost all the events I can enter :p
  4. My K9 always comes on time I got a new hair dryer today, it's a handheld one for drying Zora but to prove I am not dog crazy as people think I have acted like it's for me Getting excited about the Royal now!
  5. Anything to boost dwindling obedience numbers ;)
  6. Ok another question - I am currently shooting with an Olympus E-30. I am at the point where I want to make an investment in my photography with a new lens. However I question if it is sensible to carry on with Olympus because they seem to be producing cameras mainly in thier PEN range and not in the 4/3rds range. My requirements are fast auto focus as I HATE looking at out of focus pictures I have taken and not too pricey (I am looking to spend $800-$1000 on a new lens, for a new lens and body my max is $1500)
  7. Hmm PM me your addess and the amount and the club Tiggy, i am writing cheques for show entries so I can write one extra and post it to you.
  8. RS according to the K9 Millie is an Agility Ch :D ETA - And Ruby and Jenna
  9. Thanks showdog that's reassuring to know My K9 news arrived 5 mins ago!
  10. I will have to repeat class 2 until she is 12 months so you will catch up
  11. I thought puppy class 2 was for pups 6 months and over? So you won't be in my class with Pippa, then? Pippa has had her first schnauzer haircut and she doesn't look like Pippa anymore - she looks like a, gasp, schnauzer!!!! She's got such a tiny head because her body still has baby fluff so they didn't clip that yet. The ACWA people told me there is no point in repeating puppy class 1 as it's just the same thing. Plus Zora will be 5 and a half months when classes start.
  12. I have Toby in a CCD trial this month and if he seems ok on the day I will do the heel work and maybe the recall. But my big summer project will be doing even more work with his anxiety, trying to get him through some of these issues that cause him to shut down. I am really enjoying training Zora but am not rushing her, although saying that her progress is good. We move up to puppy class 2 in agility when it resumes back and will have a few weeks of that before I go away. I think I am going to hold Toby back from a CCD trial again until I hear about Rally-O Ideally I would like to use getting his Rally titles to build confidence in ringwork/trial environments to prepare us for CCD and later CD. It's so great to read all the time how everyone else is going and really spurs me on to make an effort with my dogs!
  13. Urgh I hope not! She has already had one broken baby tooth removed when it looked a bit suss. Thank god for pet insurance there as the cost was more then when my adult dog cracked three teeth and the vets had to spent ages looking for all the bits embedded in gum! Seeing Deb Nook on Friday so I will get her to have a look. showdog I don't mind if she checks for correct dentition or does a full count, I am just a bit nervous because I have a baby who is pretty good with letting people mouth her but might get a bit squirmy since she is in pain with all the missing/loose if it is a prolonged check. Especially since babies are not shown in other countries and she is the only rep of her breed the judge may be a bit more through then necessary for a baby.
  14. Zora lost a canine this morning, two molars yesterday and will be loosing her other canines very soon as the adult teeth are coming through. If the judge does count Zora's teeth she will have fun as Zora has double teeth in most spots where the new ones are coming through! Although the canine that came out this morning sort of broke as it came out and there is still a fragment of it in there. Will that come out on it's own or will a vet need to intervene?
  15. Well done Bedazzled and Ptolomy. BTW there is a new Pet Stock in Midland, I went in on my lunch break today - it's fairly ordinary.. much less variety then BP&G and around the same prices.
  16. It is very sad what is happening in retrieving and field trials and many dog sports with volunteers. I try and steward at least once a year for the sports I can (obedience and agility) and am training to be a show steward too. However I am one of those unlucky suckers who works most weekends, I hope that if I eventually compete in field or retrieving work I will be able to contribute too.
  17. Zora is teething and a bit sensitive... anyone know how she treats babies?
  18. That sucks PF! I am a bit nervous of my baby being manhandled too
  19. CC you know I think your pictures are stunning! It's so nice to see them all in one place, you must feel a bit of pride
  20. I think give it a shot Ptolomy! It will be a bit of a laugh for you and the red kids Ptolomy I stole your trick today - Zora was doing some focused heeling at the shops :D The only problem is so does really prancy heeling when I am trying to do show gaiting!
