YAYYY Nessie ;) Pele and I are hoping to get out next week with the northern suburbs group. Apparently it started today, I thought it was next week. Was too nice at the beach anyway

Was hoping to get Pele's CDX title this year, but after last weekend's dismal effort I'm thinking that maybe we should start tracking. Apparently there's a Thursday morning tracking session in the northern suburbs that I may be able to attend.

In the right hands it could be a match made in heaven, but I feel this is a recipe for disaster Get rid of the puppy now! The woman needs to stand up to the father and tell him that if he wants it he raises it and trains it himself at his house or send it back to the breeder NOW!!! Poor puppy

yes the VY is fine, aswell as the VZ which i already have, the VE is smaller though... more like a euro wagon and ford dont go there, LOL! I'm looking at getting a Commodore wagon and am leaning towards the VY or VZ rather than a VE for the room in the back

Amen to that. Same here. Pele hates going to the fenced dog park that we have in our area. She's been mugged by so many out of control dogs, who's owners aren't even watching them :p We only went to use the agility equipment, but then there were kids playing on it and people sitting on it We prefer unfenced parks. That way the dogs tend to be trained and under effective control and the owners are more likely to be watching their dogs

Glad to hear that the vet is happy with Rocky's wound. Jessie (now at the "Bridge") had a lump removed from her hind leg just behind the patella (knee) and after a week got to the stitches over night Her vet was away that week. I took her down the beach and bathed it in salt water and it it healed up amazingly quickly. Salt water is fantastic for wounds

I don't mind them. Just wish the little bastards would shit outside and not on my walls. It stains How do you house train them

And for deodorising carpets. Sprinkle that around instead of the expensive powder deodorisers before vacuuming. Ok it doesn't have a lovely floral scent, but is heaps cheaper

Sounds like "Queen Jess" now at the "Bridge". After Jesie was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy and given a prognosis of "6 months, 12 if she's lucky" we started to let her get away with things ;) Like your old girl she milked it for all she was worth, and we wouldn't have had it any other way Jessie made it to 3 years from being diagnosed and had us under her paw at her beck and call. Still if I told her to do something I still expected her to do it. Enjoy your old girl and spoil her, she won't be around for much longer

I would say a 20cm, we use 25cm for Giant breeds. The longer the size length, the bigger the diameter. You do not want it to big that they can't get there mouth around it comfortably. Hmmmmm..... I ordered the 25cm for Pele (Bull Terrier), but she is such a piggy and I was worried that she could try and swallow something smaller. Oh well, will see how she goes with it

As I'm working in the office as well it might keep Pele amused in her crate after she's been in the ring while I work The stuffed Kong doesn't last long enough
