I have noticed an improvement in the quality of coat, the deeper nicer colour as well as shine. Also less goddy smell, the skin one that is.

I have been giving my dogs the Canine Missing Link Plus for pretty much all their life, on and off. I believe in the product. I have 1.5 bag of MLplus left and than Ill have to make a decision on what to do as the ML plus is no longer available. so Ill have to decide if to use the ML (normal one) the human one or the equine one. A friend of mine is currently experimenting with the equine one and I havent heard anything bad, so I might take that path.

Peakhurst is in the St George part of Sydney, down the M5 pass Hurstville, aprox 30 minutes from the city. Costs of training - to join the club is about $25 than $3 per class you attend. Its not compulsory to attend each week, but certainly benenficial if you can. As the club is run by volounteers we appreciate at times some help with getting the agility equipement out (so that everyone can use it), filling in the water buckets for everyone or putting the chairs out for the observers. Many people that train for a while with the club see the benefits of getting involved, there is only so much few woman and one man can do for a group of over 50 students. If we cant get the gear out, noone will be able to have a go at the agility.....

things obviously changed there since I have attended, one used to be able to sign up at any time. Maybe they have some kind of a scheduled couple of week program before they put you in class. What happends? - you go, sign up, get vetted (well your dog not you :D ) than join a class. Usually beginner classes are quite large. Class gets shown how to teach the dog certain comands, its up to you how much work you will put in outside of class and how fast your dog will progress. If you think you are ready to go to higher class there is an assesment held (from memory only every two weeks at that club) you go there pass or fail, if pass you graduate to a higher class where you are tought more complicated excercises. First class - basic sit, drop, heel, stand, come, short stay. All on lead. Eastern suburbs is a fairly large club, class 1 will have many people in it, if you want more personalised club, you are welcome to join the one I instruct at, at Peakhurst. Or go full on, join both Im a member of 3, considering doing a 4rth one

Not all of them do! Silver only has six teeth (she's a "gummy mummy"! ), & they are all front teeth...she has no molars to chew with...hence the question. the chicken pet mince I get is minced frames. Id be feeding that to your dog. And ricotta cheese for more calcium

try finding it on dogsnsw.org.au site. I think its called Easter Suburbs Dog Training Club. Also from what I understand there is a club in Leichardt near Cafe Bones
-
Books. but there is plenty on the net about BARFing.
-
Trojan - any chinese butcher in Ashfield will have cheap chicken frames, pork and lamb necks, you need to ask. I pay $3-5 for a box of 10kg of chicken frames. and $2 for pork bones (called soup bones)

At Peakhurst we gat dogs of all ages and yes you can teach the old dog new tricks. One club closer to the City is in Centennial Park - they train on Sunday mornings.

What part of Sydney do you live in?

hmmm it is more likely to be double trouble.

Thanks for the complement they can do A LOT more than that :D , its was taken for someone to give them an idea, so I made it very short and only one comand. Divani (the brown one) is now 10 months old, Rex is an older dog and he is 7yo. I cant really tell you how long I have been doing it (as in train before the dinner), but I do it somewhat every day. Even if its just sit for 5 sec than release. I started this with Rex when he was about 4yo, with Divani when she was 4 months old. The most important one for me is that I do it with the gate, they are not to go through the gate untill I say they can.

Id say somewhere in Scandinavia

I cant belive how tall this dobe is actually. Head in a very typical for IPO training position, so are the handlers hand movements - very exadurated. I loved the first about turn and the retrieves.

For now Ill just drool over it. obedience routine

Im not sure if the love but they definitelly like or dislike. My dogs adore some of my friends. They never got anything from those people, as to do somethign you will get somethng in return. Yes they get pets, but they get pets from pretty much everyone that comes to my house. Yet they "love" some of my friends. Like V's love - who is to determine the borderline between one and the other. All I know is that my dogs like me and that matters to me. Also slightlly OT - do dogs love other dogs? My Rex has few dobe female friends but I can say that he absolutly in love with one of them. To the point of obsession. and its not that he has played with her more than other, not mated her, not lived with her. Just loves her. I guess she is attractive

How would you like to see it done guys? And what about traing clubs where volounteers (like myslef) teach? Just to give everyone that isnt in the known and idea - my club is under the Delta "umbrella" all instructors in the club underwent a course run by the chief instructor and had to pass an exam. I have to say it was pretty easy. My club also stresses that if an instructor isnt sure or confident about doing something with a dog tahn they reffer a dog to the chief instructor and if its a difficult case the dog is reffered to a pro - in our case either Steve Austin or K9 -
I dont know if Im qualifed to answer but I aimed for the eye contact. Here is a little video I took of my dogs, sorry about the quality and shaky hand as I was placing their food bowls on the floor wile trying to film them.

Melisa - why the last post? Im sure you (as any of the other trainers on this site) will admit that you can always learn something new or discuss things, or rely some info to someone. I also dont think that your business or you as a person were slandered. An alpha roll method was, tho. especially with the description of it happening that Andoria has given us. So I'll say welcome to the forums, we would like to discuss with you any trainign methods, this is how we all learn. I can start - why have you got an opinion you have about ecollars? Have you used one in the past and if yes what kind and what output did it have? -

No worries, I did. This is the emial I have send to her this morning "I'm one of many members of Dogzonline forums and there is a discussion there about some of the training methods you use. Several members of the forums invite you to join in the discussion about the methods. This is the link to the subject. http://forums.dogzonline.com.au/index.php?showtopic=92050 "
