Well frankly, if someone is offering a service and has a website for public display they should realise that every so often there will be unsatisfied customer. And they will talk to other people about their experiences and seek advice elsewhere. Im in a pet business myslef and I have heard everything about my business, from fantastic coments to bad comments. Its part of having a business. I dont believe anyone that provides some sort of a servise has 100% customer satisfaction. Even those taht think that are the best in their field, whatever the business they are in.

I still want to know how does she know that its people from DOL that emailed her..... You must have told the trainer that you have posted the link to her website here, otherwise how would she know you did? Or is this trainer a member here? And she called you - her unsatisfied customer in tears? BTW did you get a refund?

becouse people dont have enough experience and let the dogs to get away with it when they are puppies becosue people ahveint been shown how to teach the dogs from the start becouse people ahve been shown but didnt follow the method through/lack patience becouse people dont know how to assert themself as alpha int he pack becouse some dogs dotn have high pack drive becouse some dogs consider something else a higher value than being next to the owner becosue all of the above plus a lot more.

Correcting a dog for something taht the dog doesnt know its done wrong. Untill the dog knows the word and a required action for the owrd why on earth would you want to correct it for doing something? chepet stick around and you will learn here heaps, however I must say that walking on loose lead needs to be seen, it cant be explained over the internet.

Thanks Mel. I did read the topic and some replies - that I thought were appropriate responces to the methods thsi trainer applied. Couldnt see anything there that would make the subject reportable or worth deleting. This is what I meant.

Yes I lloked for thsi topic as well, to see what was soooo bad in there and couldnt find it. Obviously was deleted. I also wanted to see the trainers website as I didnt look at it the first time, for the same reasons as others - her methods do not interest me. I now wanted to see how "good" was this site

Contact Dogs NSW for a listing of all obedience clubs in NSW. Id say taht Homebush, Concord and Centenial Park are the closest to you, but perhaps there is somehitng closer.

Where are you located? I do pretty much what every one else has said here already, done exactly what PAX said and for now I try to work with people that are dog people, at least that way they are not scared, they are willing to help, they understand the problem. I instruct at Peakhurst - we dont get back till first weekend fo march, I do attend classes at Homebush (thanks Kavik) and I like it there. I have been there tonight and my girl has done a perfect stand for exam for a female. I aproached a man that trains there to help me and she was happy to take food from him receive pets, raid his pockets and than follow him She ignored dogs in the class, was a bit worried when we had to do a close group sit, but worked through that nicely for treats and paying attention to me. So baby steps, situations there are arranged, people arranged and understanding of the problem. Id love to know what breeder and waht breeding is your puppy pls PM me the details.

I had a flea outbreak a while ago and tried all sorts of natural stuff to help the chemicals do the job. I mix eucalyptus oil with water and spray everything with it, fleas dont like that smell. I planted mint in my yard, I put lime on my grass, I feed garlick to the dogs. Each time I had treated the dogs for leas I used a differnet product as it seemed that fleas were getting used to one. I now have used advantage that covers fleas and heartworm. I dont do a yearly heartworm, done it once and my dog was off coulour for couple of weeks after it. I have a little table with various products on it and what they cover, I can tell you specific ones if you want, let me know what product you are interested in. Sentinel spectrum covers internal parasites including some types of tapeworm, heartworm, DOES NOT kill adult fleas but breaks flea life cycle. Frontline Plus on another hand covers all fleas, brown and paralysis ticks and lice

Thats great news Ripley, considering I havent introduced her to you and vice versa. As to you entering my property - you are very lucky, or maybe she decided that with all those people there that night, there is no way she can still be guarding it further. Yesterday she bailed up a Telstra guy against the gate and wasnt going to back off. Silly man, rang the doorbell on the gate than opened it and walked in. You should have seen his face when two dobes charged at him from at the back.......... Or maybe you just have a right way to deal with animals dogs, cats and especially parrots Yesterday I took Divani for a visit to a fish supplier - an asian man. She was cool with him no petting not cudding of course but after a while jumped up on him and licked his face ;) I think I was more surpised than he was
