Cool :D A friend at work who lives on one of the new developments on the northern outskirts of Perth, had one trotting down her road the other day!
-
Poor Pippa Awwwww just adorable mirawee Hope all poorly peeps and kids feel better soon :) Have a fab time at crufts ST :D We had a Clumber on the yard I worked on years ago, she was the most adorable puppy - talk about large paws! and she matured into a huge spaniel with a beautiful temperment, she was a good worker on shoots :D From wikipedia "They have several habits which could be considered disadvantages, including a constant shedding of its coat, snoring and the production of excessive drool."

-
Cool :D $79 for the upgrade I've found it very intuitive to use, but may just wait a few weeks for any bugs to be discovered
-
Congratulations Showdog  I don't know - the youth of today and their 'pop' music

Big Congratulations Ptolomy and Scoota eta - just read your post above, sounds like a very special trophy indeed :) And well done RS, sounds like your girls have been doing very well too I think I'm in for a noisy day today - Slipknot, Limp Bizkit and Marilyn Manson headlining at a festival down the road Well ok a 5 min drive away, but I can already hear it starting
-
Cheers kja :) I think I'll go for it, I don't do fashion or cosmetics, so there's not much else for me from Myer
-
Thanks Kirislin, but the gift card is for Myers only and the 5 MDH seems to be the largest one they do
-
MnDM Sorry for your loss Super pics everyone :D Look at those ears Flaves  l like your flood shot MTD, hope you didn't suffer too much damage! Great spidey shots too :) Week 8 - Dove in the evening sun. Week 9. - Garden Skink. This little monster had just grabbed a much smaller skink round the belly and gave him a good shake! I love watching these little dramas play out on the lemon tree outside the kitchen window :)

I know it's not a prime, but how about the Sigma 17-70? I've been very pleased with mine since I got it, a very versatile lens :) http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/670047-REG/Sigma_668101_17_70mm_F2_8_4_DC_Macro.html Edit to change link from Nikon to Canon

I've been given a Myers $250 voucher, so of course the first thing I thought of was camera gear :D I'd like a bag to take out and about, not for all my lenses, but for the 7D with a 17-70 lens attached and room for my medium sized zoom. Does anyone have a Crumpler 5 MDH bag with a 7D? I read some reviews that say it fits ok, and others say it's a squeeze Unfortunately the 5 seems to be the largest they do. TIA :)

So jealous of you being in the UK in spring time  Have a wonderful time, and enjoy yourself at Crufts Have a look for Holly&Lil, they do the best dog collars :D http://www.hollyandlil.co.uk/whats-hot-15-w.asp Ooooo how exciting! will have everything crossed for you And good to hear all is going well at Byford :) Rosie, sounds like a very adventurous morning! Well done for helping out and hope they are reunited with owners soon :)

Congratulations Ptolomy, sounds like a great night for you and the terrific tollers :D

Well I just made a total t*t of myself at the vets I was collecting Daisy from the groomers and there was a lovely black greyhound in the waiting area, so of course the logical thing to do was to burst into tears when they said I could touch her  In my defense this is the first grey I have ben close to since re-homing Frida 2 years ago - the owners were very understanding once I composed myself and explained my reaction  Good luck to everyone competing over the next few days :D
-
Yeah come on people, this is the friendly thread - Group Hug :D but.....interestingly isn't it the reverse in horses? I seem to remember show jumping and eventing getting all the big money prizes, where as show champions were grateful for a bag of feed  Weirdos :p Good news from the vets, Louis had an acrochordon (posh name for a skin tag  ) and it's all benign

I thought Lassie was American? I've been to Beddgelert many times - had some beautiful walks round there and it also has the best ice cream parlour in the world The dog's name was Gelert :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gelert I can't believe they left out Shep, the famous Blue Peter dog :D but Petra was my favorite from the show :) -
Glad to hear she is doing well They were the longest 30 days of my life I think  What ingenious rules have they brought in now? eta - luckily when we head back to the UK there won't be any quarantine :)
-
Thanks Ptolomy :) How's Chica getting on, is she coping ok there?
-
Louis is home and looking ok He just had sedation and a local, so no GA, and the allergic reaction has gone right down, just a few red spots now and no large welts! He's crashed out on the sofa now as it's obviously been an exhausting experience for him  Results back in a week.....
-
Ouch emery, hope you're ankle is ok! The vet just called - Louis has had a reaction to the AB's he was given after having his little lump removed Big red welts all over his body! He's been given anti-histamines and cortisone cream, and his skin has calmed down a lot now. I feel so bad - as soon as the vet started to say it I remembered he'd had a reaction before to something, but the vet at the time (back in Scotland) wasn't sure if it was to the AB's or not - my poor little boy The lump has gone for testing, but she's 95% sure it's nothing nasty :) Can't wait to pick him up tonight!

Phew, that's good to hear Ptolomy :D I bet she's missing the snow already
