Glad Mason is better :D I'm coming down with a sore throat and cold now Good news on the Indy front She hasn't coughed for a couple of days, and the vet said she couldn't hear the crackling on her lungs and her tongue is nice and pink, not tinged with blue anymore :D So she is staying on the Pred for a few weeks, gradually reducing the dose over that time, then hopefully back over to the steroids via the inhaler, as that effects a lots less of her system Good luck today at the show everyone, hope you have a fun day out :D

Indy also gets a free range roasted chicken bought for her every two weeks....I portion it up and freeze it along with the sea mullet I buy and cook for her She wouldn't know how to catch a mouse if she tried

Yeah the one we have for Indy is for cats and kittens - it's a very small kibble, which is great for her as she has a teeny, tiny mouth I would love to have her on RAW like the dogs, but she actually physically gags if you put raw meat in front of her

I was appalled when we moved over from the UK a year ago to see puppies/kittens in pet stores I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a pet store in the UK selling them. However I believe in a couple of large cities a large store has opened selling a variety of pups Dogs can be brought from numerous sources in the UK.....the usual outlet for puppy farms are ads in local papers and on places like gumtree

Thanks guys, I'll give her a cuddle from you The vet believes it is environmental allergy related, but anti-histamines have a low rate of success in cats for asthma, so we're not trying those yet.....one new drug at a time

Well the x-rays showed the same thickening of the airways as last time, but no infection this time, so the coughing is asthma, not bacterial related. The bad news is that the prednisolone inhaler seems to no longer be working, so she is now on pred tablets along with upping the Ventolin inhaler to every 8hrs. They took bloods as well as she's now finished her month of antioxidant pills, so they want to test her liver enzymes to see if they had any effect. Poor Indy, luckily she is such a tolerant cat as she has been poked and prodded for months now......this all started back in March I probably won't make the gundog show on saturday now, as she needs to go back then for a check up.

Wish I didn't need to go out. Sat at the vets while Indy has more X-rays, her asthma has got worse so more investigation needed mirawee your pics are on the 'to do' list ;)

Ok finally got my pics done Week 31 - Charlotte, the very naughty resident cat at my vets Week 32 - a snap with my P&S, but capturing a rare moment when both my dogs get an off-lead walk. Louis has fear aggression, so it's always a stressful experience if there are lots of other dogs around, but we've found this deserted walk and we had a lovely time yesterday :D (He is undergoing 'therapy' for his issues )
