Does Your Dog Have A Bad Photo Habit?
CrazyCresties replied to redangel's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
lol, but her pose is so darn cute Mine are the same as Kirislins - they just stop and walk up to me, especially the cat  -
Welcome Bromaco I was wondering how Diva was doing, sounds like more tests needed? I still haven't had a chance to edit my pics of your lovely horses hopefully tomorrow! RS - hope all goes well for Ruby and you in the morning, I would have come to keep you company but someone is coming to re-grout our bathroom tomorrow. I know that sounds like a 'RallyVally Excuse', but it's true Interview went well, just have to wait to see what comes of it now
-
All the best for when you pick up Kenz later ness, hope things are ok RV - wow 90% sounds pretty good to me in an exam Good luck for the rest of them Mas - What time will you be there on sat? After cooking Louis a lambs liver the other day for treats, he didn't seem overly enthusiastic about them at training on monday  so I've just chopped the rest up and grated some edam cheese over it and microwaved it till the cheese has gone stringy - NOW he likes it My kitchen however has a delightful smell to it Just had a phone call and now I've got a job interview tomorrow afternoon

ST - The pups look adorable :D Sorry about the little girl Yup I'll be there :D Cool, hopefully I'll catch up with you there too and get to see you work Mason Nah I reckon she was busy watching repeats of the Eurovision song contest :p I was very pleased with Louis again tonight at agility, he was so good with the jumps and tunnel :D Sorry to hear so many dogs are lame/not well at the moment hope they are all healing up soon Hope you sickly people feel better soon as well

Mas - I had Fargo for nearly a year before our second dog arrived. He didn't get upset and loved having a playmate to rough and tumble with, (even though Frida being a muscled greyhound just used to pin him down ) He did get a bit 'jealous' though and would always try and squirm past her to me for cuddles OMG seriously cute  Which one is yours?

LOL RosieFT, I think you're right RS - Cats 101 ;) Time for gratuitous kitten pics This is a Chocolate Point Siamese, totally adorable right? :D And an Classic Tabby Oriental Ok lesson one over, resume with dogs ;)
-
Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone ST - Hope Ari and the pups had a comfortable night Kittens almost out do puppies in the cuteness stakes :D What cat breed was it? Can anyone here recommend a Pet/House sitter in Perth? We'd like to get away for a long weekend somewhere and need the critters looked after. With Louis's issues and Indy's asthma I'd rather have someone here keeping an eye on them then sending to kennels/cattery.

Glad to hear your dog should be ok Through my own stupidity I came very close to losing one of my dogs on Australia day this year. Daisy (10kg) managed to eat nearly a whole 100g bar of 85% dark chocolate My MIL had left it on the table and I had spotted it but not put it away and Daisy managed to get up onto the table and eat it all whilst we were out. We came home to an extremely hyperactive dog and then I spotted the wrapper and took her straight to the emergency vet. It was touch and go through the night, they managed to get some up through vomiting, but her heart rate went up to 300 and she had to have beta blockers and fluids for 24hrs. We were so lucky as at one point 2lts of fluid went into her, but only 200mls came out so they feared her kidneys had failed, luckily she started passing fluid through shortly after the 3am call from the vets. We got her back home after 24hrs and now she has no signs of the trauma she went through, but it took a couple of weeks before she was back to her usual self. I have kicked myself a thousand times for not putting that bar of chocolate away, but wanted to post this as a warning that dogs eating chocolate, especially high strength dark chocolate has to be taken seriously. Also the $2,500 vet bill was no laughing matter

Poor Wandy and Kenz hope they both cope with their rest and heal up soon emery - that's great news about zeus, a new lease of life Fantastic, I've loved Brittanys since we had a couple on the yard I worked on about 20yrs ago - they were fabulous dogs to watch working on the pheasant shoots :D Yeah, you slacker RV :p I was soooo pleased with Louis last night at his first agility class. Although he's been doing very well in the obedience class, and at reactive rover, I wasn't sure how he'd be with more excited dogs in closer proximity, and with some off lead running around. He did very well, the others in the class were asked not to let their dogs get in his face, and mostly everyone was very good. He was a star at the agility and flew over the jumps and through the tunnel, a bit unsure about the plank thing, but it was his first time on one of those and did well by the end - can't wait for next week now And I'm sorry for calling obedience boring ptolomy it's like dressage, when done well it's amazing to watch, but I totally lack the discipline to do it myself but boring was the wrong word to use.

Jees you lot really can talk a load of bollocks can't you when bored But I think I know what RVs secret is :nahnah: Is it what you mentioned to me on Sunday RV? My lips are sealed if it is ;) I know two WA dol'ers secrets now :p and OMG Louis and Daisy just did play bows and had a little skip around - they never do that Congratulations, he's on a roll isn't he :D
-
Yay that's great news Ptolomy and emery I'll go open a bottle in celebration All the best for your little one on monday ness, and good luck for whatever news you're hoping for too RV

You're welcome, hope all goes well with him today ST - Glad Spartan is ok, must have been a worry for you. I would love a new dog, both my rescues were broke from the day I got them, they are mending slowly though I often wish I had been able to bring my perfect cocker boy with me, but I still know he's happier where he is. Just as well we live in a 2 dog limit area, otherwise I'm sure there would be a pup or another rescue in our house pretty quick
-
Sorry to hear about zeus emery If you need any help lifting him and getting him to the vets while your husband is away, just give me a shout....I'll pm you my number

Awwwww Happy Birthday Alera She has grown into an absolute beauty
-
Thanks Believe it or not she is also a Chinese Crested, but the Powderpuff version. She isn't a show dog and feels the heat here after Scotland, so she is always kept clipped short
-
And her very handsome big 'brother'. I took some quick shots of these two after training on sunday, the big boy is Pluto and the little one is a new rescue pup they have just got I'd forgotten how sharp puppy teeth are! The first thing she did was throw herself on her back for a tummy tickle and tried to have a nibble of my hand Pluto has the most amazing eyes and ears (excuse the clutter in the background and the leads, not proficient enough to remove those in PP yet :D )

Ahhh they are fab Warning doggie PJs can be addictive :D At least I have a genuine excuse that they are essential for my hairless boy - doesn't really excuse they amount and variety he has though Mine have decided it's winter too :D http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?showtopic=219524
