We have a go-pro at home and have been meaning to mount it on our JRT!!!

The ones of me being attacked on the floor just turned out blurry unfortunatly... But I do have other ones of diferent tricks. Aparantly Maui doesnt like my husband exercising either, every time he tries to do sit ups or push ups Maui is in his face too :)

So, I do pole dancing as a hobby and for exercise, I have a pole in the backyard. I had hubby come and take a few photos for me... I was working on this move : When all of a sudden I spot a certain boy running towards me. Before I could say anything he jumped up and started kissing me... This was what happened: I ended up flat on my back (thank god for crashmats)... With Maui jumping all over me, what does husband do? Continues to take photos thats what!!!!!!

We feed Supercoat (small breed) to our dog, he is fine on it. Great coat, bounds of energy (well, he is a JRT after all)....

I must agree with what a few people have already said. My first thought was "What is wrong with your dad?"..... I have a diabetic friend who is now looking into getting a service dog, as she is having trouble recognising hypos now (which is not good at all)..

To be honest I find this shocking. You would really save your dogs over the life of a child? I love my dogs, they mean everything to me, but I couldn’t place their lives as more important than that of a child. My dogs are a huge part of my life, but they don’t rule my life. I would be the same, choice of my dogs life or a stranger. I would go my dog, he is my family and means the world to me.

Oh Cosmo I have everything crossed for a speedy recovery for your boy...

She has already mentioned that even the Vet recommended not transporting the dog. Taking it with them is not an option here.

We named our JRT Maui, because Hawaii is almost a second home, we love it there. Plus we honeymooned in Maui.. Oh and Maui is also the name of a Polynesian Demi-God, known as a trickster and "the mischeivious one", which is very true of a JRt :)

I get this too! Haha Ditto!! My dog waits for me to get out of the shower and licks all the water from my ankles/legs... He also loves to jump up when Im on the loo, usually just the front paws on my knees, I can shut one door (downstairs toilet has two doors) and he will go around the house to see if the other door is open so he can say hello...

I know I shouldnt giggle, but I got an image of him getting in the second time, if only you had a camera~! Im sorry but I cant help with ideas!

Thank you everyone. Maui is still being the best mate anyone could ask for. He is never very far from either of us, I am just so glad he is in our lives.

Yesterday afternoon we lost a very very dear friend of ours. I was sent home in a taxi by work (I love my job). Our little JRT is usually manic in the afternoon/evening to play and go for his walk. He knew what was going on, he did no leave our sides the entire afternoon/evening. He didnt even bring his toys to play with. He was so quiet, he just layed down near one of us (if we were in seperate rooms). Maui put up with us burying our heads in his side and sobbing. This is why I love Maui even more, he showed us last night that he truely does understand and really is part of our family 150%...

I hadnt thought of that Erny, thank you, I will have a good look tonight when I get home and keep a close eye on it.

Problem solved, hubby had a better look at his paw today, it seems he has a cut between the pads of his foot... Cant really see anything much, just the hair is stained from the blood obviously, must have been a small cut but enough to annoy him. Bathing the foot and putting antiseptic on it.. Silly Maui...

Ah yeah, how do I get him to not jump!!! hahaha. We think he may have just strained something being a dork. But as usual I over think and worry about him too much... He is going to HATE not being able to go for his walks....

No photos!!!!

Maui started favouring one of his back legs this morning. He runs fine with no limp or anything, but when he walks there is a slight limp.. Whilst he is standing he will lift it off the ground and not put any pressure on. Ive had a good feel around his leg/hips and he doesnt seem in any pain, didnt flinch or anything when i was touching his leg. He doesnt have anythign caught in the part between his pads either.. We decided to give him a rest day today and not take him on his usual morning walk and see if that makes any differenmce (Yeah, trying to keep a JRT still and relaxed, going to be fun).. Just wondering if anyone has any advice? Of course if this gets worse or doesnt get better we are off to the Vet straight away, thats a given...
