  1. I'm another one who can recomend Bowen Therapy, and MSM
  2. Our shepherd likes eating grass, and sometimes she is sick afterwards.
  3. I think Shepherds are very sensitive to your emotions and can sense them even when you don't show emotions outwardly. And I know of a Rottie that detected breast cancer in its owner.
  4. Sorry to read of your loss Merna. RIP Rocky.
  5. Some funny answers there   ours also likes to get hold of tissues when she can and face washers.
  6. Just want to say how sorry I feel for you and little Alibi, she looks such a sweet little girl. A dog we once had loved peas so I gave her those when she was gravely ill towards the end of her life. Hugs
  7. I couldn't agree more.I hope the child recovers quickly. I suppose the poor dog will end up being PTS.
  8. Dont get a German Shepherd if you like plenty of room in your bed :) seriously though all the breeds seem to have pretty much the same traits give or take a few. Dont worry Shepherds can fart too,
  9. So so sad, I hope someone finds it in their heart to take the dog and look after it,if not it will most likley die of a broken heart.
  10. Well we now have a new girl in the family a 2 1/2 year old German Shepherd, Annie, adopted.she is very sweet natured, desexed and house trained.
  11. Maybe some muzzles might help The poor guy was probably worried about having more vet bills to pay for, but its really no excuse to go that far, in front of the animals.
  12. What a weird person
  13. So sorry for your loss Missymoo, RIP skippy
  14. Beautiful dogs, very happy and healthy looking, thats probably why they run free in a forest so their owners don't have to clean up the poo :)
  15. I think the owners should be asked first, for their own safety , children espesially should not be allowed to go and pat a dog of their own free will, and any responsible parent shoud not allow it, unless they ask the owner first if it is ok to do so.
  16. So sorry to see your beloved Maggie passed away De_Mentias. RIP Maggie
  17. Peace of mind, sorry for the late reply, yes this is the one. http://www.barkcontr...-pbc00-11216/51
  18. they are not used on greyhounds cause they bite people they are not used on greyhounds cause they bite people Agreed! Greyhounds are such gorgeous animals - such a misconception about them though Sorry I should have explained myself better, and I do love greyhounds, and know they are a gentle dog by nature, what I should have said was, they muzzle greyhounds, and they don't bite for no reason so why not muzzle a dog that does bite, I don't understand why they have to muzzle greyhounds at all anyway.
  19. A lovely story, my deapest sympathy to you and your loved ones. RIP, Tommy and Jessie
  20. Maybe the owners could use a muzzle on the dog when the children are out of site with it, they use them on greyhounds so why not any other dog that could bite. Then maybe get some help for the dog as well. I have been bitten on the face by a dog when I was a child, but thankfully too young to remember the pain of it, my fault though it was eating a bone and I bent down to pat it apparently , ended up with stitches around my mouth, don't know if the dog was pts or not, back when it happened dogs were allowed to roam the streets.
  21. My daughter bought a little house type ornament that you can hang outside, and when the dogs bark it apparently sets of some sort of electonic sound that only the dogs can hear, I think she got it from a pet shop, it wasn't cheap but I believe it works ok.
