Hi I hope Chase is going to be Ok. We had a simialar thing happen to a dog I had, He got violently ill at the Adelaide royal one year, same symptoms, vomiting, collapsed, etc, after telling the officials in no uncertain terms where they could stick their regulations, and rushed him to the vet. They diagnosed anifalactic (sp) shock due to a bite/sting of some sort, he was gravely ill and like you I didn't hold much hope for him to recover, but with the right treatment he bounced back and I could have shown him 2 days later, such a scary/awful time though. So I hope your boy has the same outcome, and that my account gives you a very small piece of mind.

Yep it sure is, hmmmmmmmm what to do ???????? Bed is looking good -
It is now being reported as A Staffordshire Bull Terrier, although when they showed the dead dog lying on the grass it looked way to big to be a Stafford. Great interview with Cole from RSPCA. Yes people, ANY dog can attack !!!!!

Dr. Chris Brown On 7pm Project Tuesday Night...
Silverblue replied to Fevah's topic in General Dog Discussion
Nekhbet, I agree in part with you, BUT we are educated people, most of the general public are not, I thought it was a great piece & yes he might be a bit of a prat but A LOT of people really like him, so why not use his popularity to highlight this awful practice. I thought he did a great job with it no matter what his motives are/were. -
Thanks for that, I thought that originally but then started second guessing myself. At least they get one day at Geelong which will probally be enough

It has been so long since I have shown a baby I can not remember if you take the age in weeks or months? If the puppy is 12 weeks old can it be entered or does it have to be 3 months old, some of the months have 5 weeks in them. Can someone help ?

Mine arrived today & they are great, not the cheap ones at all, very good quality. Thanks for that, will fit in the dog float perfectly.

So sorry for your loss Partipaws, how very sad. I too have been having a pretty awful time, from 9 babies we are now down to 6. We lost 2 babies within a couple of days of being born, then last friday I rushed one little girl to Werribee in the wee hours, It seems she may have had a twisted bowel or a obstruction so she was PTS, you just don't expect to loose them at 2 weeks of age. The rest are doing Ok, growing bigger every day, I will add some pictures tonight. Congrates to all the other new babies.

Just said goodbye to baby number 3 from my last litter, God I know why I don't breed very often. From 9 babies we are now down to 6, after losing 2 a couple of days after they were born, & then today in their 2 week we had to say goodbye to baby number 3. After a mercy dash to Werribee in the wee hours of this morning it was discovered she had a twisted bowel & was PTS. Breeding sure sucks sometimes

In the last 5 days we have seen 3 lots of Staffy's that have lived together happily until something happens & they have ripped each other apart requiring major surgery. Both Male/Male & Male/Female, becoming quiet a regular thing at work, Buggered if I know what is going on ?? But my guess would be sooooo many BYB's

Making me sick

We had a litter of Rott's bought into work by a BYB only a few hours after they were born & out of the 10 puppies I think 6 of them were bobtails, there was no way they had been docked, the owner was worried we would think they had been that's why he bought them in, we nursed them all day, he took them home & they all died due to very poor management. This was only a month or so ago, so they are sure out there.
