  1. the black IGs are just beautiful! I still need a bed for our crate, might check the reject shop here before I go ordering one online. Then mid july I need to make contact with breeders again they'll have more of an idea when they can expect puppies by then. im getting prepared way to early lol
  2. mulch could work. I doubt it will be used much, for the most part - the dog will have the run of the whole yard, which is a great size especially for a surburban area. Then it will be allowed inside when it wants while im home, and will sleep inside of a night, its really just a yard where we can lock it when we go out and we can't take it with us. So Mulch might do the trick, thanks! Is it fairly easy to keep clean?
  3. Ok, so I don't have a puppy yet, but we are setting up a dog run so that when we do get a dog its got a nice safe space for me to pop it in when we go out. Last time I had a dog in there the ground turned to a mudbath, which we want to avoid happening. So, question is what do you find better? Gravel? Pavers? Artificial grass? bricks? Which is easy to clean? If I use pavers, do I need to put down sand first before I lay them? I'm getting a quote for a concrete slab on the weekend, but I think that's probably the most expensive option and maybe out of our price range at the moment, so looking for something reasonably cheap that can be laid for the time being.
  4. Oh all this puppy, training, pictures and talk just makes me even more excited about getting ours. Lol, I know it is still months away for us, but gah can't wait. lol
  5. Whippytales, weve short listed two breeders, and are waiting on a mating at this stage. One of the breeders does currently have pups but they're all spoken for at the point. It is very hard not knowing a date I'm super excited though! Koda is beautiful!!!
  6. We've got two potential breeders in mind, both of which are expecting pups sometime this year I'm in the process of sussing them out :D both seem very lovely and approachable. So will see which one pans out :)
  7. Pembroke variety :D. We're not fussed on gender or colour (though IF we did happen to get a color choice we'd prob go with a tricolour, but we really aren't that fussed).
  8. Hello all! I'm adding myself to the waiting for a puppy list! I'm currently in the process of talking to a couple of breeders in regards to getting a corgi puppy! So can't wait!
  9. Oh they are soooo cute! I have no idea how someone could just dump them to be pts. Thank god they're in your hands now!! :D
  10. Hi all, My family and I are looking at getting a Pembroke Corgi puppy sometime in the second half of this year. As we've decided to crate train, I was just wondering what sized crate would be suitable for a Corgi? Cheers Stacey.
