  1. Thats AWESOME :D We have a neighbour with a GSD that just never. stops. barking. We've spoken to him, again and again. We've even had to go so far as to complain to the council... but guess what... thats who he works for and nothing got done
  2. Enjoying a bone in the afternoon Tassie sunshine... Cant forget Sansa too...
  3. My dad just shared this pic on FB.... https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151721915659807&set=a.10150324219934807.352199.596834806&type=1 Under photo says: Does anyone around the Hawthorne/ Bulimba/ Morningside area recognise this car? 518 SBA qld plates- they had their dog on a leash running outside of the car! Poster is not a friend or relative or anything
  4. Beckybec are your 2 learning to play nicely or do they roughhouse at all? I'd one day love to leave Hank and Odie and they generally get on very well but they do tend to wrestle quite a bit, not so much a problem now as they are roughly the same size but it might be an issue once Hank is fully grown Just asking because I've seen photos of your pup and I know that Sansa will be a bit bigger than mr. Saxon when she's fully grown :D For sure they wrestle! Sometimes it gets out of hand but other days they can be angels. Hence why they don't get full days together. I think it sometimes works against us because they're just so damn excited to be with us/together they can be psychos! But we need to trust them - they're just puppies after all. Just means more exercise in the morning and more at night too.
  5. Currently inside during the day. Having two pups 6 weeks apart they are separated by a pet gate. Most afternoons either my partner or myself will go home and open the gate in between to let them spend a few hours together alone to build up to when their together full days outside. This past Sunday they had their first full day together inside - closely monitored on the "Pet Cam" When we're home they can be found anywhere they like :) Backdoor is left open and they're more often than not found together sleeping, wrestling or exploring. Night time they are in their crates in the spare room. Infact... bed time for them very soon
  6. I see your $33 and save you $4.05  ... postage is almost identical. Same pic too :D http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/390339376208?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 My dog trainer suggested cutting the base out of a few of those pop up laundry baskets and zip tying them together :)
  7. I have looked over an over and over dog kennels... I finally bit the bullet and orders one from a site - http://www.pet-house.com.au/pets/wooden-kennels/brunswick-flat-roof-dog-house-range.html - we're putting it and their enclosure together this weekend Thats a great looking kennel you made! What kind of pup is yours Rangermad? Im so bad recognizing some breeds
  8. Mine get chicken necks every second day. Watched then like a hawk the first few weeks but not so much now. The SBT digs it out from under her food and is a *crunch-crunch-gulp* kinda devourer while the Mini Schnauzer eats his leisurely and often after he has finished everything else!
  9. Haha this is true. Sansa isn't really the strongest character really at the end of season 3. Should have called my red haired princess Marjorie eh?
  10. What a happy guy! Wow 14kg at 16wks! My little tank is 10kg now... pretty much the same age and I bet only half the height
  11. Hey Zereulah A little birdy *cough*LisaCC*cough* tells me our pups have the same birthday :D Whats an ultra weird coincidence... your guy is called Tyrion... by little poppet is called Sansa
  12. 100% mischief hankodie :D I have a "Puppy Cam" set up to keep an eye on them all day. Its just a network camera that I can log into on an app on my phone. We sell them at work and regulars and my coworkers love to see what the "kids" are up to... Today was their first full day together. Can you play spot the difference? Usually I go home in lunch to put them together for the arvo.
  13. She was born May 6th ...dont even get me started if she was born on May the 4th
  14. Second choice was Stark Winter Wine. But she wasnt even born in Winter. Heh Im not going to lie... I really wanted to call her Khaleesi... but at the same time I LOVE alliteration in pet naming. Our family has Beau & Bella and Roxy & Ralph - in the past Ive even had Zeke and Zest. ...yes... daggy
  15. I got to make her pedigree name too Lisa... its ULTRA GoT... "Stark Rouge MLady" ...not may people get it ;) Yes Saxon is very very handsome and has a real attitude... we LOVE him!
  16. Not about Hank sorry but naww you named your girl Sansa!! Does she have auburn fur? I just did a photo post LisaCC :D Spoiler alert: Yes she does :p
  17. I just adore seeing pics of Hank :D He is dead set just do handsome! My Sansa wasnt a fan of water either... until she chased a 6yr old SBT into it without thinking!
  18. Saxon is our almost 6mth old Mini Schnauzer. Sansa is my 4mth 1wk old SBT :D We love them to bits
  19. My old boy was so so fearful of storms. I got as anxious for him as he felt about them I used to actually go home from work each and every storm. Or Id call a neighbour or family to put him away. Now I live in Tas and so few thunder/lightening storms. We've only had one since having the pups... the Mini Schnauzer barked after each and every roll of thunder and my SBT cowered and hid under the covers and we tried to ignore her reaction to it. Time will tell if I she'll create a high reaction to them
  20. I hope Tassie suggested High Shangrila in Tasmania :D If not: http://www.highshangrila.com.au/ We currently go there :)
  21. Tassie do you know who delivers UPS goods in regional Tas? I've tried googling with no luck. My shipping status updated tonite *yay*
  22. Has anyones shipped order updated after leaving NY (mine says on Sept 1st?)
  23. Hmm... decisions decisions. Thanks for the suggestions so far. Currently they are separated half a day by a 2m opening. One in the kitchen and one in an adjoining room. I go home in my lunchbreak to put them together. I monitor them on puppy cam and see them wrestle for 30min or so then sleep lying generally on each other or separate beds They have a treatball each. SBT empties hers in a flash. MS hasn't figured it out and prefers a log to toss about. The dog enclosure is only a 4-5hr daytime solution. 3-4 days a week. Max. I won't let them have our entire yard at the moment until much older. Not while they're adventurous, dependent, determined, cheeky little pups. Plus this is a cheaper solution rather than approaching 4 neighbours to replace our sh1t fences. Weekends and my days off they quite happily spend all day outside. Playing and laying.
  24. Bones or anything they cant swallow in under a minute yes. Treats no Definitely the enclosure will be a No Bones Zone
