1. What is my relationship with the breed? (ie breeder, first time owner etc) First time owner 2. Where and why was the breed first developed? 3. How common is it in Australia? 4. What is the average lifespan? 5. What is the general temperament/personality? Outgoing, funloving. Get along with everything. Behave like cats, like to lay along the back of the lounge and around your neck 6. How much daily exercise is needed for the average adult? 7. Is it a breed that a first time dog owner could easily cope with? If you like brushing every day 8. Can solo dogs of this breed easily occupy themselves for long periods? yes 9. How much grooming is required? Alot to keep in show condition...if as a pet regular clipping makes them easy to keep 10. Is it too boisterous for very small children or for infirm people (unless the dog is well trained)? no, they are very gentle and seem to control themselves depending on who is around 11. Are there any common hereditary problems a puppy buyer should be aware of? 12. When buying a puppy, what are the things you should ask of the breeder? (eg what health tests have been done (if applicable) and what is an acceptable result to those tests so the buyer has an idea of what the result should be) Well that is my limited knowledge....come on guys put in your two cents worth

AS and Toby will go fantastically. I have to say it cna be frustrating with newbies who dont listen but so far AS has listened and is absorbing everything. I remember when she was just getting a pet Toby is just beautiful and groomed fantastically. With a face like that he has to be an :D -
Jen, I will have a look and see if Kimmy has left any clothes in the wardrobes at home, not sure what is there but I want to clear it all out

Has Anyone Used This Program?
experiencedfun replied to persephone's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
interesting posts.....I am sure the first mentioned program came on a magazine I bought a couple of years ago, doubt I ever loaded it. I had no idea Elements 6 converted RAW images...must try it. I took some unreapeatable shots without checking the setting on my camera and someone had touched it (how dare they) and it turned out all the pics were in RAW. This was about 2 years ago and I now make it a practice to check all setting before each batch of shots. I must take another look at Elements on the weekend. -

Chezzyr has taken thousands of shots exactly where I will be so knows just what i will be up against...she also knows how average my skills are. Outside it will be even if I have to drag them kicking and screaming. -

hhmmm lens or divorce............which would I choose. I know its a hobby and to take great shots you need great equipment...maybe I will just ask them to take the dogs outside for pics. at least until my next life when I marry a 95yo millionaire -

Ok, so far I take pretty good (well good enough for me) shots at shows outside. But I am interested in a toy breed and they seem to be shown indoors mostly, what do I need to do to take reasonable shots in the hanger at the park. I have a nikon D50

You can add mine Lakamari (GSD, Shelties & Welsh Corgi Pembroke) & families Lurgan (Shelties, English Springer Spaniels, Welsh Springer Spaniels and Labradors) -
They wont have miniature on the paperwork.....when a person says something to the breeder they will probably say it is a mistake. There is no such thing as a breed called 'MINIATURE POMERANIANS' Its darn frustrating when people ring up wanting money grabbing breeds.....like the teacup poodle miniature maltese etc etc etc

Herding Training Kcc Park
experiencedfun replied to whatevah's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
why is it too much to ask that if you bring an animal....any animal onto KCC Park that you clean up after it? When I groom my dogs I pick up the hair....when my dogs poop, I pick it up....if I have a bottle of wine, I dispose of the bottle......when I drop bait in the ring I pick it up So why dont herders pick up their duck poop -
