There are no opposites at the BR. You do not have to go back for specials if you get RUBOB CC's are handed out on breed judging day. If you wish you can go back but most don't bother unless they won the breed with another dog. Personally if I won RUBOB I would not take the dog back.

Coming from another angle, could it be that the dog is of more value to science, alive, rather than dead? The news report said it is developing antibodies to the disease, at this stage. If the dog's own immune system proves to be able to deal with the virus, then the nature of those antibodies would prove important. I guess, tho', that would mean keeping the dog in the very tightest quarantine. Maybe that'd be too difficult....& even inhumane. Especially given that blood samples could suffice for study, after it's been PTS . Very sad, tho'. And very worrying for dog owners in SE Qld. Bats are all over the place. Like, they come to the mango trees in suburban backyards. I hope the authorities are going all out to fund the research into this Hendra virus. I agree 100% maybe useful to develop a vaccine??

Your welcome jinkispirit Your right, we recently had our mat at a very wet Alstonville weekend and the red dirt just hosed off with no staining, we deliberly choose the black for the paw prints and borders, living up this way red dirt is always a consideration Alstoneville is a killer for the red dirt as is Toowoomba!

I have seen Paws 4 Effects mats and there is nothing on the market that is comparable in quality out there. These really are top notch mats. Not like the cheaper ones.

Have you tried training at your local park? Dogs don't stack well on slippery surfaces like lino. I find my dogs work better away from home.
