If thats the case (not a club but an individual) I would go somewhere else Even if you don't get the money back you will be better off not being taught things that are appropriate to the age and level of the pups, and you will just end up disapointed and lose interest in obed

Eddie whinged for months He drove us nuts, OH slept with ear plugs in and me with a pillow over my head He now sleeps soundly (thank god!)

Don't think of it as "just standing there" Classes at clubs realistically don't teach the dog anything, they teach you what to do once you are home. Training should be done is small sessions every day, as if you leave it only to the classeseach week you will find it a long frustrating process. I'm guessing they haven't been using food with the puppies either? When you go for your walks start by giving the pup a small treat when they are near your side, beagles will follow their nose, but if they know they get a treat you will have their attention some of the time at least! lol Just make sure you work the treats into their daily food allowance so they don't chnk up as beagles are good at putting on weight! ETA the instructor sounds like an idiot, asking you to get thge pup to do something it hasn't learnt yet

I think Ish has taught her GSD's flyball

1/2 hour is too long for a puppy class IMO They aren't too young at all, but the class sounds very wrong for any puppy Puppy training should be quick and fun, a few min work, then a play, etc Can you just go for the first 1/2 hour (or even less), and put them in a crate and watch for the rest of the class, it would probably be a lot more beneficial

Thanks guys She was such an evil girl, used to bite Molly's nose through the cage when Molly tried to lick their food from outside, was so funny!

Betty and Boop came home with us by accident when I went to get a water bottle for the other ratties, about 2 1/2 years ago now They were the snobbiest rats I have ever met and they loved each other more than anything, we always called them the babies cos they were the smallest, even today they were the babies even though they are senior citizens A few weeks ago we saw Bet had a small tumor under her front arm, but at her age we decided to keep an eye on her, she was eating and happy til today when she passed Boop is going to miss her sis, but she still has Maz and Basil to play with here All my oldies are going  A few weeks ago,

We left before they got to that bit, and she wasn't sure what scores she got, as she said she can't add that fast  Arnie is a gorgeous poodle, he wears a black studded staffy collar, I love him, he's awesome! -

Nah the show will be out the front I think the middle bit where the gsd club train will be best if there isn't anyone there, its to the right of the pavillion as you look at it from the road, behind the VCA offices -
Yeah but for the future, just buy her the empty plastic $2 pots
-
There are a few brands at pet shops, maybe start with the citronella from the hardware store first, see if that helps first But even before that I would see how she goes when they are planted, will you be planting them soon, is there anywhere else to put them til you do plant? Least you know a good cheap toy now! A plastic pot plant lol
-
With the sprays and gels you have to replace them every few days, but they are meant to train them to stay away and then you can stop using them You may actually find that when not in plastic pots the plants aren't as interesting anyway My 2 run around my mums when we visit, and they steal her potted plants, tip the plant out and run around with the empty pots

Barfers - What Mince Do You Feed?
shoemonster replied to Sayreovi's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I dont feed anything else It's around $5.95 a kilo and the frames are about $10 per 10kg box The performance mix we used to get (mince and veg) was abotu $3.95 I think, but when you consider all the extras this has and how much less hassle it is, it's great I buy once a month and keep it in the freezer, isiss goes there once a week lol -
Barfers - What Mince Do You Feed?
shoemonster replied to Sayreovi's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Total food for the day should be based around 2% of the body weight and I go by these ratios Raw Meaty Bones 35% Meat 45% Offal 5% Veggie 10% Treats 5% The offal and veggies are included in that mix so it would be 60% mix and 35% meaty bones (I use chicken frames) So for a 38kg dog it would be roughly 450gm of the mix per day and 260gm bones (1-2 frames) That is the way I do it, I'm sure there are other ways and ratios but that one works well for my 2  -

Oh and it has chicken bones in it too I dont give my 2 normal bones as the 2 times we have I spent the whole night up with Ed with him puking up little pieces of bone all night ETA that sounds dumb, my normal i mean anything that isn't chicken bones
