I had the RSPCA called on me also, for having 3 dogs inside for 2 hours while I was at the shops, in 42 inch crates. Meaning 3 dogs, in 3 seperate crates, all with coup cups full of water. THe person who made the complaint said that the dogs couldnt lay down, or turn around and were distressed. I emailed a photo of the dogs in their crates to the RSPCA inspector and she laughed and said "Right, I dont know what they were on, thank you for calling us back". I am happy they came out, in that I am glad to see they take action when people make complaints, but still annoying!

Dogs Victoria???? Oh they post an image of a muzzled Rottweiler under the topic dangerous dogs in the last gazette! They don't even stick up for their own!!! As you can see I am quite angry about it Completely agree! Try having an Amstaff. As far as I am concerned Dogs Vic would be more than happy for us to go away. They dont help when we need them, dont stick up for us, dont like us. Makes me sick.

EXACTLY Megan! Every staffy person I speak to, or person with a bullbreed cross says "Nah it's fine, my dogs not a pit bull". I try and tell them that they NEED to be concerned about this, but you cannot get it through to them.

A break stick isnt going to be of any help if they cant stop the dog from attacking, its just going to get the mouth off them, but if they cannot restrain it, it will come back again. Has anyone actually seen a dog attacking something and you're the only one there to do anything? Its awful! Two of my dogs were having a massive scrap, I was at home by myself (small woman) and they had no collars on. Nothing I was doing was going to stop them, and it actually went through my head that I would have to stab, or smack one of them on the head with a Hammer so I didnt end up with TWO dead dogs because there was nothing I could do about 80kgs of dogs intent on killing each other! Thankfully, I managed to get them apart, but it wasnt without injury to myself, and both dogs... I ended up dislocating one of my dogs shoulders and I had a dislocated finger and bites all up my arms (my fault, they didnt mean to bite me but arms get in the way of mouths!). I actually feel really quite sorry for the people in this story. Whilst I am sure they could have figured something else out, in the heat of the moment to see your dog attacking your partner, you'd pretty much grab whatever! I would do the same thing if a person was attacking my partner, protect first, think later... its instinct. Horrible for everyone involved, including the dog.

Loki in his lifetime has eaten an entire box of Tia Maria Chocolates, 2 packets of Tim Tams, a block of Old Jamaica, half a block of Marble, half a chocolate cake and 6 easter eggs... all by him being a sneaky sh*t, and nothing has EVER happened to him. Not that I am saying nothing could or would happen, and I would still never GIVE a dog chocolate, but it isnt always bad news. Fingers crossed they are both ok

Cross posted from offtopic Fingers crossed he'll come back. If I was still at my old house I could almost guarantee he would have been hanging around in my Yard all the lost dogs used to come there! Check over the fence of the house on the left hand corner of Costata and Nandina. They have a big Boxer there, but they have a big hole in their fence that they dont block up so maybe he's gotten into their yard? I used to find Loki, if he escaped would go and harass the Ridgebacks through the chainlink fence where the baseball fields are, you know where that big huge converted house/church is?
