with pleasure! i am a sharing type of person and would be happy to even burn a copy on CD for you, so you can watch it in high resolution on the big screen Think you are onto something there Oonga - if the video was sold I'm sure they could make a packet. Then maybe they could run free workshops for all us DOLers! especially for those of us that have promoted this life change in this thread!!

Hi Guys, I received an email yesterday Steve at K9 Force. Amongst other things he mentioned that he used to be a florist!! I was not sure whether to believe him or not He proceeded to convince me in another email by telling me he is going to be giving up dog training!!! to go back to being a florist!!! Now don't get me wrong, I think a good Florist is a very skilled and creative person! BUT would anyone else have guessed this about Steve from K9 Force?? I wonder if he will be selling off all his doggy equipment cheap??

I usually put say three or four drops on each essential oil in about 200ml of water and spray on the animal..........i needs to be diluted because it can effect their skin You can also grow the conbination, on the farm i used to have these readily available and in the summer i would dry some out and grind up........i would then use this to sprinkle on the horses coats........... cool thanks Kingsleychi!!! i am guessing having it in pots would deter the flies from even coming onto the property??

so with the lemon grass, lavender and peppermint, are you supposed to mix essential oils and together and spray the dog?? if so is there a ratio and do you just mix with water?? or grow that combination?? if it's this option can you just have it in pots around the yard?? say lavender in one pot, lemongrass in another pot and peppermint in another?

Thanks Feralpup, i know that he did look into her ear with something.... no idea what?? after her first lots of drops he even told me to look, to show that although the infection was mostly cleared up there was still a bit of it left. after her second lot of drops it was all cleared up, no idea if what he looked down her ear with would have showed a perforated ear drum though? i must ask him next time she has to go for something. but i was wondering are there any symptoms that you can see or differences you can notice from before to after the perforation??

how do you know they have perforated or ulcerated ear drums?? what are the symptoms?? can that be fixed? Maia had a bad ear infection once but i have no idea about her ear drums??

well i phoned The Glenn again, and spoke to someone different this time. this lady knew what i was talking about but said they hadn't had any of the dry Ziwipeak for at least quite a few weeks, when they were discontinuing it. she said there was no clearance section of it, that she had had a few phone calls about it today but that for at least weeks now they have only had the cans of Ziwipeak. they would not be stocking the dry to knowledge and the cans were not on special. Kristie, they are not really in my area, but i would not have minded going down there if they had them. however i am not going out of my way, when i have spoken to 2 staff members who say they don't have it, not to mention that you have phoned every store in the country and they know nothing of it you are a woman on a mission!!! and now that cavNrott has also said she didn't see it either on saturday. sorry!

that's odd. i rang the Glenn this morning and the person i spoke to said he had never heard of it? ;) even asked me a few times to repeat what i was asking for :D he only knew of the cans.

The stores i rang don't even stock the dry, didn't even know what it was. That was VIC stores. They only had can food at $3.59 a can, not sure what size?

does Ox Cheek count for the offal component? or do you still need to give liver of some sort?

no idea about training the dog, but to assist the owner with hearing you make sure you are always facing him when you talk so that he can see your mouth, speak clearly, and loud but don't shout take a paper and pen with you and write things down if he is having trouble if you have said something and he is not hearing/understanding you after the second repetition use different words to get the message across. sometimes it is only one word hearing impaired people have trouble with so changing words can change frequencies etc.. tap him on the shoulder to get his attention. keep up the excellent work you are doing
