I'm not phased about the vaccination issue and he can stay with me so the kennel isn't needed. All I want to do is basically keep him crated and let him out for a run/play with me during lunch or whatever.It's terrible timing, but if I can't take him with me then I'm going to have to move into the block training after this one which costs extra I think. I had the same problem with my pup - she was too young to kennel, fortunately my son was on school hols and old enough to care for her. No options for a friend, pet sitter service or family member to look after pup? Breaks and lunch weren't scheduled so you would have trouble toileting pup frequently. I don't know, if they say no then I'll figure something out. TB: Thanks, if it comes down to it having you pet sit would be better idea than my Mum - she is too, err, soft? I did and she sat in her crate all week as when you get there you are assigned a dog from their kennels for the week, the only time she got out was when TB's assigned dog got sick and they decided that she could use my dog. They are going to change the booklet to recommend that you only take your own dog to the second block. I've just done my first block in Vic and people who did bring their own dogs were able to use them everyday I wish I brought my dog will be for the next block ! You can always take what you've learnt and apply it to your own dog any time. Grabbing the opportunity to gain experience with different dogs is invaluable.
