Hoping to bring my boy along to the next one Rod takes a number of photo's every race (but not usually every dog) ... it is best to introduce yourself to him and ask if he can take some of your dog running. You do 2 runs one in the morning one in the afternoon so they'd have cooled down before the next one... other than that it's just the same as how you would at shows? I just put a cold ( iced ) towel over Maggie and let her rest in her crate with it covering her . As Miss Monster said they do have time to cool down before the second run.
