Looking for a pup ? Beware this scam operating in South Australia

Online scam swindles dog lovers .

ONLINE scammers have swindled thousands of dollars out of dog lovers by selling puppies that never arrive.

Vicitms of the scam paid between $1440 and $2725 to "Newfview Kennels" which claims to have a kennel in South Australia but is not a registered business.

Minister for Consumer Affairs Gail Gago said the website claims to have Newfoundland, Chesapeake and Leonberger puppies for sale and provides a mobile number to call to place an order.

"All transactions are made via telephone and money is paid directly into a bank account belonging to Andrew Pike of Newfview Kennels," Ms Gago said.

This is not the first time he has come to the attention of authorities.

It would seem the law has little effect or power to control his actions.

Perhaps it is time the dog community banded together for a common cause.

To protect our animals and the public from unscrupulous people.

Every long jouney it starts with one step.

Perhaps we could start with this one.

Lets start by posting this warning on EVERY site we can.
