Overseas Pet Transport

I had a question from someone in another forum so thought I'd ask here. I don't know much about transporting pets overseas!

Just wondering if you can help me. We're moving to USA in Jan & need O/S transport our RRidgy as well. She'll come & join us about 4wks after we leave (so we can find a house etc).

Have you heard of Adelar Pet Boarding in Leppington & their business Skypet? What sort of rep do they have?

Do you know of any other O/S pet transporters that are good?

Anyone know anything I can tell her?

I always use Dogtainers and only recommend them.

They have offices all over the country and can arrange for pets in any part of Australia.

I never try to cut corners or shop around when it comes to shipping dogs even more so when shipping overseas, there are too many details need to work out correctly and I want to know the complany I use is excellent.

I think I also saw that Dogtainers was the MDBA shipper of the year.

Here is their link http://www.dogtainers.com.au/

I know Adelar Skypet very well and have used them for boarding and for Pet Transport. I recently moved to the states also and brought my 2 year old GSP with me. She had to board for a week because their was an embargo on for flying animals in when it was to hot. She had a great time and had the company of another dog to play with I highly recommend them.

I work for Jetpets and more than happy to help you out if you like? Can PM me and I can pass the details on to our international team tomorrow? :)

Hi Steph, thanks for the offer, at this stage I'm just after comments on services provided by this company.

Or recommendations for other companies by people who have used them recently.
