With parking at the Racecourse you walk to towards the showgrounds, go under the Railway line, turn right then go through the gates & you are then in the showgrounds, when you get to the end of the buildings look to your left & you will see the rings & shed

we then just went up to gate 7 & got marked off,:D

can anyone tell me a bit about the pavilion 18, is it indoors/outdoors, away from public? all i know is that is down a ramp and to the left.

Is it far to walk from the un/loading area to pav 18 as i'll have to make a couple of trips as i'll be going by myself on the Sunday 25th for the puppy awards. I'm not to happy about leaving my dog unatended  while i try to find parking, was thinking about the racecourse but seems to be a hell of a walk back to the dog pavilion, how long does it take to walk? as i want to make sure i have plenty of time,:driving: i am coming from Seaford (near Frankston) so thinking i should leave quite early to be ready by 9am. anyone have any ideas. thanks

and good luck to all those entered

Hi Sariluda Pav 18 is indoors, under the same roof as Pav 19, the general public dont get let in till after 9am, one car park is right near gate 7 if you get in early enough, walking from the racecourse is about 5-10min. You might be lucky to have another show person help you :) sorry we wont be there on that day otherwise I would offer to help as I will only have 1 of my furries entered, he is the Obedience trials :)

please correct me if I might be wrong on the general public & parking

Thanks Murve for that info, at least if i have to park at the racecourse and knowing that the walking is only about 10mins

it gives me a plan on what time i should leave home in the morning, planning on leaving pretty early so hopefully i may be able to find a park close :crossfingers: thanks for the offer of help (if you were there that day) i apreciate that :D

All the best wishes for good luck with your 'furry' at the trials.:winner:

Hi Joan- didn't get to catch up with you at Albury due to the shocking weather!

Asalei sometimes Woolworths/Safeway have cheap folding chairs.

Ha ... wasnt it dreadful... I wasnt hard to miss, I was the silly woman carrying the 25kg snow white dog everywhere... people took great pains to remind me "she does have legs you know!!" But other than carrying her to and from the ring I never left our gazebo, what a dreadful weekend - weather wise...

Will we see you up here again soon, perhaps the double for the Albury shows in Oct?

I don't think it will be in October as we have a few planned and then our Specialty shows but perhaps after that....The mud was about 6 inches thick outside the Group 7 ring- bit hard to pick the Danes up LOL although I have a new appreciation for my brindle boy as the mud didn't really show up on him but poor blonde fawn girl had black splatters everywhere.

OK so now I am going to show my complete ignorance. This is our first Royal... now I have parking organised, and am entering at gate 7.

It appears that the clumbers are going to be in Block F, so that is where we are benched - Correct?

So if that is the case, where are we showing? Is it near F Block? Inside / Outside? Is there a loud speaker system or how do we know when we are beinbg called if we are spread all over the place?

Dumb questions I know but I am pretty anal when it comes to making sure I know exactly what I am doing... and am not happy until I can 'see' each step in my mind.
