I got some new toys yesterday - they are Kyjen ones, the Invincible (unpoppable sqeaky snake), and the real animal squeaker mat - and they are AWESOME!

My SBT Ruby just loves them, she has barely stopped playing with them. A big thumbs up from me :D

A little brag too - I got her the treat wheel too - and she sussed it out straight away and was flicking the treat covers out to get the treats from underneath. Although, she did attempt to staffify it by chewing the top piece off instead of getting it to spin...still getting the hang of the spinning part :)

What are your dogs favourite toys? HOw do they rate entertainment and durability wise?

For a food dispensing toy, you can't beat a buster cube. The dogs really have to work at them to get the treats out.

Their favourite toy is a Harvey Bunny from Clean Run. I got it when their was no shipping charge and it is very long wearing.

They also luuuurve their Chase It - I'm pretty sure all staffy's would too: http://store.clickertraining.com/chaseit.html

With the current exchange rate I find that buying stuff direct from the states is a lot cheaper.

We've been through a number of squeaky toys but the top rating one for us is the Kyjen Invicibles 6 squeaker snake. It really does keep on squeaking even after 4 weeks of punishment by 3 large dogs, being pulled in all directions and at one point, being drowned in a tub of water. The squeakers are so durable and noisy that we've had to limit their play sessions with it to avoid complaints from the neighbours.

Although we've spent a lot of money on various toys, the one they love the best is a $2 water trough float. GSDs, ACDs and a Kelpie X haven't been able to puncture it. It has survived 10 dogs over a 20 year period and is still going strong. Go figure!

Buster Cube and Kong Wobbler are big winners here for keeping a dog entertained for a while.

We also have a Harvey Rabbit that is very popular.

Their favourite toy of all time is a monkey puppet they found on the side of the road during one roadside cleanup. It's a foream length, fuzzy monkey with a squeaker in the mouth and long arms and legs. Kivi dug it out of a pile of junk and lay down where he was with it and refused to move. I figured they may as well have it seeing as it was just going to the tip anyway. The boys argued all the way home who got to walk next to the hand holding the monkey. I only get it out on occasion, but their eyes light up every time they see it.

ETA, Oh, the plush Leo Genius toy is also a big favourite. They love the little toys that come out of it. Kivi's been carrying around the steak all week.

Do you buy the Kyjen toys from the USA? Would love to get one of the squeaker mats for my boy!

I also love the West Paw tough rubber toys - the Huck ball and the Hurley - they're the only ones so far that have lasted my power chewer longer than a week or so...

The Kyjen Invincible snake is massive hit here too (although the noise drives me mental!!)

Also in the kyjen range are the bottle buddies - I really like them, think they're a great idea. Its one of Rileys favourite toys.

Izzy has one of these http://www.premier.com/View.aspx?page=dogs/products/behavior/busybuddy/twistntreat/description

She loves it, took her a few days to work out what the point of it was, and now she is obsessed with it! She has learnt to empty it pretty fast now so I have to pack the stuff in tight. She constantly rolls it under the couch and tv cabinet though and barks until I get it :mad

My older boy absolutely loves his cuz squeaky toys ... as soon as the squeaker breaks they are dumped and completely ignored.

The youngest boy absolutely loves his turbo chook ... so much so that we are now on our second one ... and it will need replacing again soon - along with the clothes line it is attached too.

One toy both boys also like is a simple piece of rope with soft drink bottles threaded along it. They play tug, drag and chew this toy all the time.

Wagsalot, the search bar on your website isn't responsive for me? Can't type in the box or click 'advanced search' or anything. I was going to search for kyjen toys. ;)

But I have bookmarked this thread! Archie is in need for new toys.

His favourite at the moment is his puppy Kong Wubba. He hasn't grown into the adult Wubba yet.

He also loves plush toys. At the moment his Racoon EZ Squeaker and his Squatter toys are prooving popular.
