This came up in a recent conversation at our house.

The answer. 24 by a Neopolitan Mastiff, Tia, by C-section in January 2005.

When we were kids my aunt and uncle had a boxer that had 16 puppies.. All survived..

Their girl went back to her breeder for her to breed with her (part of the contract).

She never had another litter that I know of...

Smart girl, did it all at once. Kinda like those people that have triplets = instant family. :laugh:

Wow 24! My ESS (field) girl was one of 9, one of her sister's had 13. Thats a lot for a 15-16kg little girl. I had enough trouble carrying around 1 at a time :laugh:

I honestly couldn't imagine having twins, let alone even more multiples...

I have 7 years between my 2 boys...
