tdierikx Posted February 1, 2014 Share Posted February 1, 2014 They are retailing at around $1835 new - but I've seen them at $1720 new in some stores. I'd say if it were in good condition, you'd be looking at around $1500... but it's oh so worth it! It will take some getting used to - as it's a push/pull zoom mechanism - and it's heavy (1.3kg)... but you do get used to it very quickly... honest! I would love it but even 2nd hand it's more than I can afford to be spending right now. My mare being sick so much last year really drained my very limited resources, plus photography doesn't pay for me at all, so it's purely a hobby. Very hard to justify. FF - I just called her name and chuffed a little, and the next thing she was tearing over to the fence to chuff and chat back at me. It's not been a one off thing either... she comes to me most times I call to her now. I so want to pat her it hurts! I have to be good and not climb over the small barrier fence to get to the big chain link fence - because I could easily do that if I really wanted to (as I keep reminding the zoo owner)... *grin* I think I found my heart tiger...
