Doggles - Do They Work?

Does anyone have any experience of using Doggles, especially on a small dog? I'm wondering if they would help keep the sand out of Poppy's eyes at the beach. We go to the beach several times a week and she runs around like a loon for most of the time, taking the odd tumble resulting in a face full of sand! I'm just concerned about her getting sand in her eyes on a regular basis - should I be?

Any other suggestions welcome :)

We sell them at work but honestly, not many dogs will tolerate them. Doggles now make mesh eyewear which seem more comfortable for the dogs.

Have you seen the mesh ones, is the mesh fine enough to keep sand out?

Poppy is pretty hip.

Doggles will complement her beach attire.

:)

Haha, she is a pretty cool little pooch

A friend who is a brickie had them for his dog as Russell used to go to work with him on the back of the ute every day and the sand and concrete used to get in his eyes. People used to take photos of Russ all the time cruisin' down the freeway with his shades on

Or if you're like Stan they're just a fabulous fashion accessory at the beach :D
