kwirky Posted March 19, 2015 Share Posted March 19, 2015 Hello, we just got back from holidays to find our Murphy has some stains on his fur which I can't wash out. They seem to be kind of like dried streaks and are mostly on his head. I have tried scratching them off and also washing with a face was er with some dog shampoo but no luck. cavNrott Posted March 19, 2015 Share Posted March 19, 2015 (edited) Hard to know without knowing what type of plant juice the substance is but try massaging peanut butter into the coat. It sounds crazy but it often works to get hard to remove substances out of dog hair. It even removes chewing gum so it's worth a try. Salukifan Posted March 19, 2015 Share Posted March 19, 2015 Possibly some kind of sap. I have used De-Solve it successfully on my dogs. You buy it at Bunnings. Orange based so safe to use.
