My dog has been vomiting repeatedly over the past [X hours/days]. I’m trying to figure out what to do, but I have a very limited budget and cannot afford a vet visit right now.

I came across a website that mentioned a vomiting medication for dogs, but it also listed some serious side effects (like drowsiness, diarrhea, or making the vomiting worse). Now I’m terrified that giving this medication might actually worsen my dog’s condition instead of helping.

My main concerns:

1. Should I try the medication I saw online, even with the side effects?

2. Could the side effects make my dog even sicker?

3. Is there any safe home care I can try first?

4. I truly have no budget for a vet – are there low-cost or free vet services available?

contact a vet who has Vet Pay (https://vetpay.com.au/). You really want to find out exactly what the problem is as there may be an obstruction in your dog's stomach.

Here is a better idea... if your pet's symptoms are alarming you enough to want to look up cheap alternatives to actually getting a diagnosis from a vet... get a bloody diagnosis from a vet!
