  1. Im in the hunter valley and nope no limits around here! ETA and yes its lifetime register rather than yearly!
  2. Yes but labs arnt the only breed that can skittle a person or a dog, (any large full of energy dog can do that) my pointer is lovely and not agressive in anyway but bloody hel she can bounce! This is why I dont allow her to be offlead because I KNOW i cant be incontroll of her bouncing!!! I dont see how pointing out that yes labs CAN be agressive is Lab bashing I think some are being abit sensative but I totally get it I can be very sensitive about my breeds also its just best to have an open mind and stating things like and is just stupid!
  3. You're not serious? There is a very HA and DA lab down the street from me - people cross the street when they see it approaching (on leash). Most labs also play very physically. They can easily hurt a small dog even if they didn't mean it. I'm deadly serious! Who could be scared of a labrador?! They're known as the world's friendliest and most family orientated dog! I would never cross the street if I see a labrador on a leash. If I see a little yappy thing, then I cross the street! What a ridiculous narrow minded veiw to have! ALL breeds have the potential to be agressive...Labs are not immune to it. I've come across a few nasty Labs, Ive come across nasty dogs of most breeds... Just cause Labs are one of the most POPULAR family breeds doesnt mean they are one of the best suited breeds for familys. And they definately arnt all friendly. Most that come into work that are under the age of say 6 are out of control...alot of others are very timid/fear agressive and then there are the lovely ones who you can tell have had training, socialization and disapline to make them so wonderful!
  4. I'm also 100% certain my Pointer wouldnt prevoke an attack nor do I think she would retailiate if she was being attacked shes quite submissive with dogs. Still I very rarely have her off lead as she doesnt have great recall but then I havent worked on it with her, I do usually have her on a nice big lunge lead thou. She plays nicely with dogs of all types and all sorts of temperments. ETA cant say the same for my pugs they are dominated little bitches and would find a large dog bouncing at the rather intemidating so would react poorly which is why I rarely take the to off lead areas any more!
  5. You Planning on showing her FM? Shes stunning!
  6. What does she do if you shut her in her own crate so she has no other choice other than to be in there?
  7. Mum also added to her side of our little show teem on sunday... she'd been considering a different breed for a while to do along side pugs sort of like how I have the pointers anyway long storry short this is her new little man http://www.samandbarbieslitter.webs.com/ he is givenchy on his breeders webpage but his show name is french and means Garden of the nile so we have changed his name to Niles and it suits him down to a T ... mums going to have alot of fun with him I think!
  8. Saw Eva's Baby in show win on sunday...she looked fantastic out there!

  14. *** Stamps feet*** I want...no, NEED a pink show jacket!!! Cant find one I like, boo hiss!!!
  15. Hi-5s bub.... I cant stand snipey muzzles on goldens I think it makes them look cranky Got to say I do prefer the lovely deep golden colour!!!! For pugs I prefer blacks cause their personality just wins hearts...but I have nothing against fawns...cant stand fawns with shitty pigment thou :D Pointers my preference is for orange and whites and black and whites but the other colours are alight too I guess I dont have a colour preference exactly I know what I like but if the best puppy at the time showing wise isnt a colour I like then I just have to suck it up and forget about colour!!!
  16. I was going to say similar to BL, it really doesnt sound like poo. My first thought was maybe some how hes brushed up against some paint? I know kite got paint on her once and it was a b*tch to get off. I'd be doing as the others have said give him a nice warm bath and give it a good soak and scrub with a sponge and fingers crossed whatever it is comes right off!
  17. Glad its your house and not mine...After reading this thou I'm suprised I didnt come home to a sparky a peach and suitcases on my door step Seriously thou, my money is on Sparky...he did it!!!

  19. We were hard to miss we were directly opposite the canteen right infront of the gundog ring! No wins for us but we were happy to cheer on the others in their excitement... Bec...mum threatened sparky on friday night she said "stop being naughty or we will throw you on one of the noisey trains and then we will ring Bec and she can pick you up when you hit newie and have baby sit you for the weekend... " his response was to throw himself upside down and make crazy sparky noises We...well... I lost Sparky on the thursday night he was there then he wasnt then some kids were walking this dog, and I said to kristy hey look is that other another tailed aussie...kristy was like wow yeah I think it is...the kids got closer and tunrs out its sparky...hes so sneaky...no idea how he snuck away so fast funniest thing was it took kristy a little bit to recognise her own dog was dark thou so I guess she can be excused
