Thats terrible! Poor dog and poor kid, will take a while for him to get past that if ever!

I'm pretty sure my pugs would ankle bite any intruder...the pointer would pounce on them and start licking their face!

Um no dont think we will be doing the more one, theres another, coonabarabran show? its closed friday I think we have only just sent our entries thou so you could still get an entry in if you wanted. Not sure about the moree shows, if I do go I'd be on my own and not sure if I could do 3 rings, plus the weekend after I will be at gilgandra by myself as well! Well not exactly by myself kristy and Andy are going to that one too I think then we have rylestone and gulgong/mudgee! Not sure if there are any local ones in between that but if there is we will also be at them! As for a terrier, I'm not really into terriers but if I HAD to Id get a border Terrier...my fave dog at work is a BT and I just cant describe how wonderful he is! Coonabarabran is mid June - Moree is early July You won't be alone at Gilgandra Sammy B - we'll be there Kool...I know a couple of people going but I usually always show with the mothership it will be weird doing one with out her! Think I will have one pointee entered one heeby geeby and one puglet so should be interesting!

I would do it but am not 100% confident with westie clips yet. You could try Gavin at Hunter Valley Dog services in Kurri, hes a good groomer! Avoid most of the mobile guys around these areas! Hmm cant find Gavins number right now but will PM it to you in the morning if you want!

Pugs are bad shedders....the pointee one sheds too but not that noticeable except when Im wearing black!!!

Hooray for your trailer Deb, you wont know yourself now! It is so much easier especially with the big kids! Do I think you could spreed over 3 rings yeah sure why not me and mum are!!! Stella has baby puppy in show stamped on her forehead! Are you entered in gunnedahs next one? think its in about 3 or 4 weekends?

Glad you've found yourself a little group LOTG, it really is all about the socialising, and when you find people you just click with it makes it extra fun! I cant wait to show this weekend and catch up with all of our little group.

Sort of off topic and sort of not, was at a show the other day and towards the end of the national anthem two basenjis were howling away they we fairly in tune.... A heap of bassets also went off howling at the anzac day show when they played the horns!

Ditto, pointers are the best! Kites my first and definately wont be my last she has me hooked on the breed. I got a pointer because I wanted a larger dog to show, something with a happy friendly nature and short fur so I didnt have to do alot of grooming. Agree with everything pointees said, they are smart...kite pretends to be dumb but she aint, cheeky is an under statement, shes a lounge lizard when shes not causing mayhem and she is brilliant with other dogs and when shes around little kids she just melts! Infact she melts for anyone whos willing to give her a cuddle! Shes so soft in temperment and has the softest ears in the world I could go on forever about why I love the breed and why I got the breed but you'd get sick of my rambling! Just trust me when I say best breed ever! Now the pugs are a whole other story, why did I choose them? No idea! Probably originally loved them cause they is cute! But once I met a few I loved their additude, they can be naughty little sh!ts one minute and lovely snuggle bugs the next! They are smart, and very human like! I just love everything about them I have the two best breeds ever end of story! (IMO anyway)
