  1. Well, the submission that was copied from others  You know she didn't write it because there is a distinct lack of words starting with f and c!
  2. I didn't know Rigo personally but I know he was an awesome silverback and he will be deeply missed. Sympathies to his keepers.
  3. Ironic that she would be charged with cruelty offences a few months later. No mention at all of monitoring of animal shelters either and Lola herself didn't believe in compulsory desexing until the volunteers forced it.
  4. Good find, I have saved the submissions document to read later and haven't done so yet!
  5. He was pushed, no stepping down for him. He also conveniently ignores the fact there is a criminal trial coming up. Have you been keeping up with the FB pages?
  6. The Moorook people use the same argument, Moorook might be crap but at least the dogs are alive. So that means it doesn't matter what conditions people keep PF dogs in because they are alive right? We have the power to be compassionate and we should use it. It doesn't matter to the dogs what the place they are living in is called, to them pain and distress is all the same.
  7. If a breeder was keeping this dog alive they would be crucified. I don't know Pickle's story but I'm guessing she can move around? This dog can't move. Any drives she has mentally are unable to be satisfied, she can't be anything that resembles a dog.
  8. The will to live is in every animal, but you can't use that as an excuse for prolonging life. So because she hasn't died on her own her that means her will to live is so strong she needs to be kept alive? The technology we have today can keep humans and animals alive long past the time we should. If she could get around on her own that would be different, but she has no control over her life at all. You just have to see the extent of her deformities to know that her life is not a good one.
  9. Some people do thrive on the saint comments and attention caring for a special needs dog gives them, we don't know it that is the case here. That rescue tag does not automatically equate to a perfect human with unselfish motives. It's easy to say the carer will PTS if the pain is too much but the poor dog is already in pain and suffering. A dog that cannot move has no control over it's life and that in itself is stressful. This seems more about the carer's needs than what is best for this poor little thing.
  10. Once I realised that skelp is a Mark supporter I did what I do to deal with them, ask them them explain in facts why we are wrong. Not one of them can do it, they then just tell us we are just lonely desperate housewives who are in love with Mark. That really happens  Their latest push is that Lola has learned and things have changed. Yet when asked exactly how things have changed and what Lola has learned they say they don't really know or only have their assumptions. Apparently if someone says you should just believe them they are serious, they really think that will happen! I guess because they have reduced their FB friends down to ones that never question anything they get used to being able to say anything they like. The option is still there skelp, you are free to tell us exactly how Lola has addressed the numerous welfare issues identified at the shelter. Those I am not sure how you are going to do this since you've never been there or even seen pictures
  11. I also want to point out this is what the Mark and Moorook supporters do, they can't answer questions about the conditions using facts so they deflect and question the person asking questions about their motives. Skelp, can you give us a daily timetable of how one woman can care for 120 dogs and a whole lot of cats in one day, even on the days she is in Adelaide? How does the cat situation satisfy animal welfare standards as we know them? What is the disease management protocol for the dirt runs? These are the type of things that are important to know and I eagerly await your first hand knowledge that will easily refute our concerns.
  12. Have you physically been there? I am fully aware of Chinese whispers which is why I only post things that can be verified or posted by Mark or Moorook. Are you saying Moorook are lying about their own shelter? Are you saying the rspca raid and seizure didn't happen because we weren't there? How many times have you been and what did you think of the conditions?
  13. If you have been there skelp then you should have seen the things we are concerned about, if you haven't then how does that make your comments any more factual than ours? One of the supporters said Lola told her there were 120 cats there. That was on Mark's page and she is pro Moorook so no reason to make that up. A lot would be off free ranging in the area all around the shelter once the established free ranging cats drove them out. Skelp, did you know that Lola goes down to Town for three days at a time and any dogs she takes stay in the trailer out the front of her daughter's house? The dogs can't leave the trailer because her daughter's dog is aggressive so if they aren't picked up from new owner they stay in the trailer for three days. Moorook themselves have told someone that if they don't actually take a dog they were looking at that was bought down it meant a three day stay in the trailer. You seem to forget there are lots of people who know Moorook well speaking up. The things Moorook post about themselves are bad enough and they don't see these things as a welfare problem.
  14. Are you saying Moorook is a well respected organisation? I want to check you really mean that. If you have read this thread you should know a bit more about what really happens at Moorook. I guess if you think hoarders who are up on some pretty serious cruelty charges and keep unrehomeable dogs for years on end in small cages till they go mad are well respected then I don't think anything I say will change your mind. I won't even start on the cat situation Thankfully most people know this is wrong and are doing all they can to help these animals after years of rspca inactivity.
  15. He has just embarked on a hard core campaign to get us all to shut up as he now knows we mean business and aren't scared of bullies and he is copping it form all angles. You wouldn't believe some of the shit he has been pulling with his imaginary friends. He also finally admitted he is Cinch as well. I think that I'm here to stay bitches is in response to me telling him yesterday that I will basically dog him till the day he dies if he keeps posting lies. Not trying to say I'm all that and it's all about me but the timing and what he says seems to fit. Considering I have yet to see one thing he has posted that has turned out to be true other than his own name I can't see that he has a snowflake's hope in Hell of getting anyone to listen to him. He has also mounted and lost two supreme court challenges and cannot get one bit of legislation he quotes correct. Very sad indeed
  16. From what I can gather they aren't ANKC registered and their breeders are mostly using them as hunters so they don't have the same desire to rescue like the ANKC breeders or the working registry people do.
  17. He was at Moorook today, maybe Lola decided not to fill him in  If it is a trial date then you are right Mark, a day for celebration and one day closer to getting those poor animals into proper homes!
  18. I think I'd like a few extra words added to it to make it perfectly clear and specific to Moorook. I think after dealing with vagueness for the last two months on Moorook I am getting very picky! Mark deleted comments about the open letter and banned those who talked about it. One was banned for bringing up the fact he said a little lower on his page that he supports free speech yet he banned her friend, it was very meta  His general response is to just lie some more about non existent SAPOL investigations and reiterate that we are all mentally ill and in love with him. Yes, that is how he deals with problems
  19. To be honest I can't see the office approving them now since they have significant breaches in the past and they continue to breach knowing they are under investigation. They don't just hand them out, they have to be approved and I think they've blown that now.
  20. Thanks Ridgie. They still weren't really clear about the fact that he is 100% wrong about the law changing in March but it's better than not printing a correction.
  21. Oh he will see it It's currently being shared far and wide as well. He'll of course tell his followers to ignore it all. It's just such a great summary of the highlights (lowlights really) of Mark's appalling behaviour.
  22. Thankfully now there are a lot more eyes on him and any lies he tells while campaigning on animal welfare issues will be exposed.
  23. He still had to get a dig in and imply that haters were also a factor. Right is might and things worked the way they should for once!
