There are only a couple of pics of "Plonk" (from the slang for some alcohol- he was brought home as a pup along with the booze supply) he was an ACD X, and my guardian/playmate for my first 4 years . No one except my mum could take me from my pram or playpen ....and he saved me from snakes at least once . yes, I do have memories of him - mainly me pouring 'mud pies' into his ears because he wouldn't eat them dear Plonk.....

Collie wee'd in it in the house, does that count? yet another purpose!! ;)

Our guys do get chained ... yes. It is a necessary part of their life when we cannot watch them, when they are working way out bush , or on other properties .... So, today was the kids' turn.. They are doing amazingly well :) From now on .. 'big' treats are only available after that chain is clicked on ;) Don ate his chicken thigh , climbed on his cushion ...... photo is 20 minutes in . Ess ate her chicken happily ..then stood stock still until I showed her that she could still move , demolish a tub of yoghurt ..and lie down with her favourite pink pig ...

;) seems to me as if she has a full belly , and feels GOOD ,so she wants to play . You may find that if she has a bone to chew , that will give her something to do ? A decent bone can take many, many minutes to properly chew .... and it uses up energy , plus releases those 'feel good' hormones humans get from exercise (or chocolate ) ;)

it is only two days in ..and Poppy is obviously a bit confused & dealing with the change - so are bec & family .Early days yet ..compromises to be found ,but certainly not a time to call for rehoming .

put her in your room :) In her bed ....with a couple of towels near your door in case she really needs to go _ poor little girl .... She is more likely to toilet when she is stressed ..being alone and confused and scratching etc may lead to accidents - then it is a difficult thing to stop.

yep- ditch the processed food ..try him on chicken or some other raw(majority of meal) ..with rice (brown)and some cooked sweet potato and some probiotics. See how he goes on that for a few days ..ten maybe gradually add different meats/bones , .... There are all sorts of things he could be reacting to - including grains/colourings /fats....preservatives ...
