poor boy he is so well housetrained that he will hold on for way too long. I agree - give him more opportunity to empty out - this will keep him comfortable. A toilet break is different to a walk :) When you take him for the 5-10 minutes needed for a toilet break .. tell him it's for wees or, for a 'busy' time - whatever term you like . That way , over some time, he will learn .. :) he's got a lovely sweet face !! :D

We switch on lights outside ... then everyone waits .... just in case we're on the way .. and often that's enough to break the mood . I let them howl at dark if their boss isn't home ... A whistle may help... it certainly breaks the howl pretty well immediately... whether it picks up again .. depends, I guess . Glad I don't have near neighbours ..I quite enjoy a big group howl ;)

Oh.. are you using vet prescribed animal dose cranberry ? Sorry to question if you are I just break open human cranberry capsules and use the powder ;)

I am wondering how much cranberry you are using? She only needs a little bit - you could hardly see it . Even my cat will eat it in mince ..he weighs 12 kg ..and gets a small pinch . Are your vets specialist vets ? It might be time to try the The Companion Animal Health Centre ? being uni based..it has everything under one roof ..and different people to ask .

I am hoping that he was taken home by someone ..... and is being cared for .....

:) A thing you might feel is useful is to have her with you on leash ... that way she is still included, and has interesting things ,other than stitches/itchy bits where she was clipped... to occupy her .
