Time for a vet check - this dribble and frequency could be either a sign on infection, or perhpas be hormonal.. she may be approaching a first season.... or it could be neither

Has Anyone's Dog Ever Eaten Ratsak?
persephone replied to ruthless's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Poor little guy - I do hope you got treatment for him soon enough for it to work well. What a worry I guess the vet told you to keep him very quiet , to avoid risk of bruising/injury ..also to avoid bones or things which may cause internal scratching /bleeding. Maybe buy your FIL a dozen of those little grey plastic snap traps for the mouse problem ... and remove any other poisons for kid and dog safety... I hope your puppy has no ill effects from this - I haven't ever had it happen , but worked at a vets where we saw this sort of thing quite a few times . -

it would be cause for me to book a vet check..... he may have something stuck somewhere ..or an infection , and the soner they're tackled, the easier to fix ;) hope he's bouncing again soon! -
I just find it interesting - some folks are a bit uneasy when castration etc is mentioned .. some just use 'neuter' ..some use the full terminology ...

In a lot of breeds , proving parentage may not be a life or death thing - but all of a sudden it seems very important for dogs like tanstaff's gorgeous boy.
-
I'll tell that to a friend who has two little girls ..and a muscly dog who is the biggest sook ever ;)
-
Pit bulls appeal to me I would never own one ... same as I would never own an F1 car `- too much for me ..but I can still admire them and enjoy what they do ;)

A bitch has surgery to remove internal reproductive organs , and a dog has surgery to remove testicles.

Excuse me? It is nothing like what Hitler's regime did . Nothing.

When you look thru the viewfinder to focus .. make sure the little dots that light up are on the eye/s have a read of the bits which interest you HERE and more on focussing HERE You're doing very well !

Nice captures! When photographing people/animals, I find the most important thing to remember is to ...... always focus on the eyes

i don't think you can plan for "A" in week 2 "C" in week 5 ... she is a puppy, and will have good days & bad days ..as will you ;) Perhaps you are expecting a bit much ..and may need to approach things differently.. ? Many pups have learned to not chase cats .. but not by learning a down stay .. for example. perhaps have a read of these links? They may be of help... LINK LINK

What a worry for you I am glad though, that she is enjoying everything life has to offer her

I just LOVE the mental picture!! Seriously - *snigger* I do have a suggestion.. My suggestion may cost you a bit of money ..BUT it will probably give you understanding and skills with which to use the appropriate tools and methods to make walking much less of a battle ;) I suggest you ask for recommendations on here for a good trainer (not bark busters or similar) who will work with you one-one-one , assess teh problems, and assist you in making things better!! Sounds as if there a whole parcel of things going on with your pup ... plus being a teenager ... and the quickest way to stop a lifetime of bad habits is to get competent, personal help now.

Oh dear how disappointing. I think you need to treat her as a baby again.. take her out every 1/2 hr ... have her on a longish lead attached to you indoors ... also take her out on a long lead..to where you want her to go ..and stay there ;) She sounds as if she is used to toileting on concrete etc .. probably brought up that way . I;m sure others will be along to help .. best of luck with her.
