4 puppies confirmed yesterday morning. It was good to see the little heart beats. I will post the scan pics this afternoon for anyone interested. And what about you Redrob? Did your bitch have the scan?
-
Ha ha - no not too much. Hopefully you will get your nice blend of good qualities in a single package I have to say your breed is one of my all time favourites. A few years ago here in Brisbane there was a black bitch being shown that just won we over with her personality. I'd love to own one but the coat could prove a problem

Oh getting close..... Apart from healthy puppies what are you hoping for in the litter?
-
Lovely puppies Nedsure. Bit of a size difference with the top two?
-
I'm booked in the same day and time, meaning am. I will be thinking of you. I have not put mine up here until I know for sure. again for all at the same stage ;) Thanks Redrob. Good luck to you also!

For all confirmed.

A few of us in the same boat - mights and maybe's. I'm 90% sure. I have booked a scan booked for Monday morning anyway as I need to be sure and we want an idea on numbers. For all of us still uncertain.

I would be really surprised if he was fertile unless it was a bad batch or something. My beagle (just turned 6) had the 12 month implant last March. It is supposed to work for "at least 14 months". Now it is 18 months since he had the implant and he still seems to be infertile. His testies are half the size they were before. He is a proven stud but we will not be using him for breeding in the future so he will be desexed. Although, I do think the effects are perhaps starting to wear off, I certainly wouldn't like to be waiting to use him over a bitch. It works a bit "too well" im my opinion.

BB - lumps hey - sounds good! Fingers crossed and good luck to all with litters still "maybes" :D Ellz, Melbourne must be place to be! My girl flew down to Melbourne on Sunday and has had 2 matings so far with 20 minute ties each time. We are very excited and expecting to get some tan & white's/lemon babies this time. Now comes the waiting.....
-
Getting in early. My lemon & white beagle girl is flying to Melbourne this weekend for (hopefully) some matings early next week. Any puppy dust you can blow our way is very welcome.

It is beagle day at lurecoursing this Sunday, 30 August, starts with registration at 8.30am. This is a Beagle Club of Qld annual event. It's a great sight to see the "pack" runs and hopefully someone will take some photos. I'm really happy as I will see one of my babies from my litter last year (now 15 mths).

I love Bostons! They look like such clowns. Beagles are pretty good too

Hi Jacqui Poo eating (Coprophagia) is a very common behaviour in dogs. Unfortunately, many beagles seem to do it. I have one that does it occasionally but not with "fresh" faeces. As long as I pick up poo morning and evening he doesn't get much of a chance. Others may have better advice. How about some photos of your baby. Sorry, if I'm mistaken, but didn't you have a Boston in 2007?

Hi Anastascia Is it just for during the day or at night also? Will your cav and beagle puppies use it together as you only mentioned your beagle? I use a Hound House during the day under a pergola, although I wouldn't recommend it for overnight use as it just isn't warm enough. How about some pics of your babies?

Hi, I have sent you a personal message. Cute baby!

Hi Dedrei I would go with an electric fence also. We had a bitch that was an escape artist and it certainly fixed her (LOL). We have also had another breeder friend borrow it and it worked for her girl too. Good luck!
