  1. Another very late update about Marnie.... She is still doing so well and is such a well behaved girl, Little tails has had no issues with her except her eyes, she is such a well socialised girl loving every dog she meets. Little tails will be in soon to update. Unfortunately Marnie has just had entropion surgery as she has recently developed entropion after having perfect eyes until now but she is doing so well considering her rough start to life. Adelaide people.. she will be at the meet this weekend and im sure she will be so excited as its been a while since shes been out with the other dol dogs ]

  5. We went to the mpw & ran into 4 other dolers there. Did anyone else see Asia on the news last night? Sorry didnt get to chat more KHM got talking to a couple who adopted their beautiful staffy x pei from me. HollyE We tried sleddog not long ago & loved it, will definately be going back again .
  6. Link to the clubs site , if any Adelaide people are interested http://www.sasleddog.org.au/
  7. We had such a great time & will definately be having another go soon! :D @ Asia as she couldnt work out why, for a change, I wasnt happy with her putting herself into heel position next to the scooter & why I wanted her to go out in front & pull With a few gentle bum taps which set her off into zoomie mode she was off! So proud of my 20kg girl, actually pulling my 68 kg weight+ the scooter, she would never be much competiton against the Huskies, Malamutes & Border collies etc but she did me proud! I havent seen the photos yet but If they dont look too bad I will post them soon. No one warned me how fit you have to be to keep the scooter moving if your dog stops abit to sniff along the track After both of our boredom with repetitive obedience training it was great to see Asia be free to be a dog, have no corrections & just run & have fun
  8. What time did you guys get there on Sunday?? I waited for about half hour & no one showed up so we went home
  9. Shar pei being a herding, hunting & guarding dog originally, its bound to be amusing her being a sleddog , never know she could be a natural as I have been told before " you cant train a Shar pei" & Ive proved some people wrong Missy will love it She is one strong, energetic dog. Any any other Adelaide people coming??

  13. What I saw was not dog lifted off the ground but sitting dog lifted enough so front feet were up off the ground, If you get that? Looks like I have no choice but to never go to a club in Adelaide again, & do nothing as it seems word will get around that I lie & im a troublemaker.
  14. The word from someone else in the class were that the dog was "severly disciplined" & didnt know why? Not my words & I dont know this person, never spoken to them. This is why it has never been taken to the committee All band together as friends to make me look like Im making this up
  15. Happy to discuss it with you anytime Ms Faye as obviously myself & others saw things differently to what you saw.
  16. Where did I say this dog was abused?? And no the GSD on this occasion wasnt lifted off the ground but I have seen it done before with another dog edited again for going OT
  17. Funny that!! I was contacted by a few others in that class that couldnt believe how wrong that was, as the dog was already back by the owners side & told to stay before being reprimanded. I didnt know that before as I was at the other end of the line! Yes what happened with the GSD was no where near as bad as what I have seen, but how did that dog connect the running off with being reprimanded?? If you know me you would know my dog was one of the worst runners for a long time, zoomies off through other classes every week, we went back to basics, puppy recalls & worked our slowly up to longer recalls, untill she got what was expected of her & now havent had a recall problem for a long time. Edited for going OT
