  1. It wasa shame that theses shows where a bit disorganized as its a great venue surface wise.
  2. Well we had a bonus for our parking. But it was poorly managed, if the actual parking had been supervised more cars would have got in.
  3. It was a great 9 days. Loved our unit with a view over the Lake. Met some nice people and enjoyed fivesies with them. Reckon its a goer for next year.
  4. Well Jess might have done a bit better if she had not pelted out of the ring!!!
  5. The club is suppossed to keep all the paperwork from a show for 7 years I think. And why does the VCA not have a marked catalogue? All clubs have to send them in and again I would have thought they should keep them for at least 7 years. I am with you Renanne. I have personally posted a marked catalogue into the post box on the veranda after our Champ Show.
  6. I have looked in a catalogue from Saturday and appears in there as Sup CH XXXXX XXX. Champion is just CHG. grand is GR.CH. Aust only gets mentioned if NZ is also added. as in NZ/Aust CH. But I think to write it its Australian Supreme Champion. Australian Grand Champion, Australian Champion, Australian Neuter. Cannot place my hand on Ruby's immediately to check.
  7. Baby in Group 1 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Clarelly Damage Control :cheer: First BP in Group for a homebred dog.
  8. Cavaliers around 10th will givea date when I discover the mating date.
  9. I have not been in here for ages. Glad its fixed Kaffy. I would suggest a string bag for hot areas. ie the sort you put stockings etc in so they do not tangle in the wash.
  10. Thank you Riley James for organizing our table for Saturday night. Great night DOLers BB,BBJ, Riley James, Tenties. Tenties had a couple from her breed. BBJ picked up a guy in the BIG lineup and he and his wife came and our friend with the White Swiss. Thank you Riley James for the accommodation. It was fantastic. Love your new house.
  11. Thanks you for all posts. Got them from LOTG.
  12. Does anyone have a small set of Show Stackers ie Cavalier size that I could borrow to try before buying any??
  13. I'd love to go and catch-up with everyone (it's been a long time!) but I have a litter due that evening (27th) so I'd best hang about at home. I am hoping to sneak out on the Sunday to watch a bit of the judging of Grp 3. Who did you have join you for dinner last time, BB? jerojath we had about 6 people last time and picked up a couple of Sammy people in the queue who enjoyed being with us.
  14. It was fantastic to be there when Sharie got her Supreme with group and then to top it off with Best In Show. Way to go Maree and Sharnie.
  15. Anyone interested in going out to dinner at the Pub on the corner of Raglan Parade and Fairy Street. Cannot think of the name. Had a get together there 2 years ago and it was fun.
  16. Agree. The only people I know or am aware of who enter neuters are exhibitors who take the opportunity to give their old neutered conformation champions a run. Dogs that have paid their dues in the real world of dog showing. Still, showies are much more interested in the veterans s.s than they are the neuter scene. The veterans actually draw the crowd & the applause & the admiration. Disagree with you on all points fixer. As dotdashdot is a perfect example of, there are people out there showing dogs in neuter that haven't got their Ch. A lot of people are very supportive of neuter classes, including the majority, if not all, the judges I have shown a neuter under. Many people still stick around for NIS, even though it is the last class to be judged, and I have heard some great cheers for NIS wins. Which is what a discussion is all about. I am yet to witness neuter judging draw any appreciative interest, except from those associated with the exhibits. I am yet to witness neuter judging draw any appreciative interest, except from those associated with the exhibits quote this applies to any breed/class etc. and by the time you get to General Specials only those needing to be there there are there.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 But the Judge on Saturday did draw a crowd because of his Showmanship.

  18. WooHoo. Must start organizing Easter.
  19. It is with much pleasure that I announce that Australian Neuter Champion Clarelly Ruby Rose completed the year as top Neuter Cavalier Nationally. Nationally she was 35th in All Breeds and 4th in Toys. Victorian 13th All Breeds and 3rd in Toys. Ruby was the first Cavalier in Victoria to gain her Neuter title. Ruby enjoys her days out and will continue on this year with Victoria offering more Shows with Neuter Class. Ruby you

  21. Cazstaff big hugs. :grouphug:Words fail. For those posters who are saying it was an accident. No it was not, it was a failure in a chain of events that should not have occurred. Pure negligence.
