9 in total. 2 born dead, think it was just a little to long in there for them. Tried to revive with no success. A black and tan dog and a ruby dog. Final count 1 black and tan girl 1 ruby girl 3 ruby dogs 2 black and tan bitches BBJ logged in as mum as I can't post in breeders.

We now have ruby boy and girl. BBJ thinks probably 2 more.

Well Rosie slept with me last night and contracted on and off. I have gone to work and BBJ is now there.

Ms Rosie is having a few contractions. She is really fat. Maybe 6

I can safely say that Clarelly Ring A Ring A Rosie aka Rosie is preggers to CH. Portcon Mukintundunrup aka Kinta. They will be black and tan and ruby. X-ray soon as I missed the 3-4 week feel. Due on 7th of July. Looking quite fat so hoping for at least 4. Very excited.

I recently desexed a 16 month old Cav with a grade 2 murmur. Her patents were both heart clear at 8 years of age. So well above the International Standard. The father is still heart clear at 9 and last month mother was diagnosed with a murmur. Grandma and great grandma diagnosed at 12.

I cannot quote because I am on my phone. Jed your post is excellent, exactly what I was going to say. Cavaliers actually do not not have, at the moment, any true genetic diseases. Both parents have either be carriers or affected to pass on a disease. Then there is the mode of inheritance. Affected to carrier 2 affected 2 carrier. Carrier to carrier 1 affected, 2 carrier, 1 clear. Carrier to clear 1 carrier 3 clear. Hope I got my genetics sorted :) So following that line you breed a pup from clear parents and it gets a heart murmur. As Jed stated what else is in play. All I can say to puppy buyers that the pup comes from clear parents and this is the history of my dogs, your pups ancestors.

Hip Dysplasia Slipping patella Missing limbs Extra digits Missing digits Fused digits Heart murmers Half a heart Vessels in the wrong place. Brains missing. Fistulas between trachea and oesophagus Kidneys missing Penis with holes in the wrong place. Unidentifiable gender until DNA'd One eye. Cleft from the mouth to the skull up through the nose. Cleft palate Hair lip Over bite Under bite Then the illnesses cancer, thyroid conditions, brain disorders. Then the mental health issues. And where is all this???? In the human race. If we did half the testing on humans that we do on dogs we would not even scratch the surface. I rest my case. PS I am not saying that dogs do not have problems but a lot are caused by humans. My track record first cav died after having a stoke at 1 week over 15. Heart murmer for 3 years Her daughter 1 week she of 16 heart murmer for 4 years. Her daugher 1 month shy of 14 heart murmer for 4 years. Current 9 yo slight murmer 8 year old heart murmer. 4 year old healthy. I have sold pups that have also lived to a good age.

Or walk all the way over to the other ring? (there are only four rings) I think it would create a major traffic jam if every one upped and moved there setups 6 metres. :D
