I just remembered reading recently that you can use the Advantix with the Bay-o-pet Kiltix collars, but not with the Preventic collars....it was in the Bay-o-pet flyer. Not sure on the reasons why though....

I personally would not use this on a pregnant female unless under veterinary advise :) If your using Advantix, you should not be using preventix collars, this also says it on the box I believe? and there should be no need for the use of both anyway :) one tick treatment is enough :)

Hi Angelsun I had a bitch that the vet prescribed I think Heron Paracetamol (I think it was this one, you may have to check with your vet), which takes the edge off the pain a little, she had her leg amputated while in whelp, had no pain killers except for this.

All the shows I have been too the steward calls the placings and have made it a point to ask numbers on the way out if they can not see them :)

I was disappointed with catering last year.....they seemed to go the same way all the time, many people down the back missed out. They would run out on their trays and when the filled them would start at the start again And it wasn't just one person, it was like 3 caterers going down the same way....this isn't the dog clubs fault though :) So if you want food, sit up the front or sides....or take your own munchies :) Luckily there was pizza available to purchase from the Calabria club.

Please take 2 minutes to sign the attached petition. The German Shepherd Dog LSC was approved to be shown in 2012, however inter-variety breeding between the SC and LSC is not allowed. The gene pool for the LSC is very small. As breeding is about "Breed Improvement" then the LSC needs time to create and develop a strong foundation if it has any hope of moving forward in the future. The curren petition is to allow inter-variety breeding for a period of 10 years in order to develop the breed variety. Currently inter-variety breeding is an allowable breeding Practice in Collies, Weim's, Dachys, Jack Russells etc, we are only asking the same rules be applied to the German Shepherd Dog. Although you may not own, show or breed German Shepherd Dogs, please sign our petition and support our requests. Yes my Bitch was pregnant, she became very itchy and her skin at times was quite warm, didn't have any issues with it, but I did not leave it on long. If your doing it to relieve itchiness you could also either try Aloveen products or fidos have a great aloe Vera shampoo :) Never heard of Malaseb not being good for pregnant animals, in fact it was my vet that sold me the product :)

I agree, but you can't really start assuming stuff from Facebook posts etc. If the OP feels not right about the situation then they need to contact the buyer and either ask up front what's going On or be honest and say she does not believe the home is suitable for one of the puppies. Otherwise you sit there doing Exacly what the OP is doing, wondering what's going on and start assuming things :)

It could be a possibility that maybe she is struggling to get the money together and is putting of the pup until she has the funds, she may be too embarrassed to say so? There could be many reasons as to why. I would be upfront with her and ask her what her current situation is ect. Please be aware that an "Animal Hoarder" is not someone who just collects animals or has a couple more than you or I, the definition of an animal hoarder is someone who has a number of animals that are not within their means of looking after, they do not receive neccessary vet care, food and live in squalor. It may be an option to speak with the mother in relation to the daughter buying the puppy? Dont lie to puppy buyers, for one thing you do not want to jinx yourself and have the puppy become sick. If you are genuinely uncomfortable for any reason with the arrangements, then tell her exacly that and explain your reasons, for all you know there may be reasons for her actions :)

Quite easily, face judging....favour judging I don't show week in and week out, bur am quite discusted to see what some judges put up as Best of Breed in my breed.

I agree, there are certainly dogs running around with the Grand Champ Title and now the Supreme Champ title, that are very poor examples of their breed
