  1. Dont forget to put it on your wrinkles too - My 17 year old loves it as its rubbed out his pimples almost over night - I use it as a toner and after shave
  2. Yes its good - not organic but should still do the job.
  3. Happy Anniversay HW - Its been a good ride I sort of dont like to be pushy but so far this forum'Troy hasnt been nominated for an award - first time since we started the awards almost 8 years ago Someone surely should do that before tomorrow night My link Its going to be hard to get him to Melbourne in May if he isn't nominated
  4. Quick sounds like a nomination and its almost closing time My link
  5. Why would you distress her by tying her up near the puppy run when you know it stresses her out. She probably injured herself struggling to break free of the tie out. Sorry but I don't see anything to LOL about. CavNrott, She was tied near her puppies to minimise stress on her and her babies, through the weaning period. When I said "due to her not liking being tethered" means she probably had a few scratches at the collar as she normally goes uncollared...Certainly I don't feel that she was anxious or agitated enough to break the skin.... You might want to have a look at how you manage the bitch and the weaning process in future - there isn't any reason to tie her up or lock her away from the puppies to do this. Wash it with a Calendula tea rinse and put Aloe Vera Gel on it a couple of times a day. Snake bite, weaning so radically being tied up trying to get to her babies, then with another dog which is constantly licking it and post babies her immune system will be knocked around so feed her the Calendula tea slops too. The fact the other dog is licking it implies its weeping or moist - if you use the Calendula and Aloe and you don't see an improvement within 2 days get her to a vet - you probably should have the vet look at it first anyway to be sure its not staph or similar. This is all pretty hard on this girl.the least of your problems will be how it looks to the puppy buyers if you dont knock it over and treat her with some TLC
  6. Pretty sure they were about 18 years ago - I could be wrong though I used to own 2 of their dogs
  7. Yep I got you - You're all packed and ready to go - included some freebies too.
  8. Often the discolouraton is caused by the milk on the fur and skin which creates a nice micro environment for yeast etc - rather than it coming from what is actually being ingested. men with moustaches get this too - You can wipe this over with Calendula tea or apple cidar vinegar - poor things dont have hands to wipe their faces.
  9. When mammals are born they produce an enzyme lactase in order to assimilate lactose which is in milk . When they are weaned many go for a long period without milk so their bodies stop being capable of producing the enzyme - so if they have milk regularly the body automatically continues to make the enzyme and there isnt a problem. If they dont have it regularly they are lactose intolerant and you see varying side effects.
  10. I think you must be right now as an order came through for you. Will post it first thing Tuesday [public holiday tomorrow] Its a bit of a worry that some are selling it and its not the right stuff but that's the same with most herbs and essential oils.
  11. Don't know what yourself or Steve did, but I prefer to let the tea cool before I drink it. I don't mind it. It doesn't turn me on, but I don't find it distasteful. Actually Ive since put some lavender honey with it and put it in the fridge and had it icy cold - not too bad. Hot without honey - revolting
  12. Costs a lot lot more but as long as its Calendual Officianalis would still do the job I can get it to her via post in a couple of days
  13. Yeah dogs seem to like it but I tried it and Id have to be pretty desperate to put it near my mouth again
  14. How quickly they fight it off is more about the immune system than anything else you can use lemon and honey to sooth the symptoms but the body has to fight it off - best if you can look at boosting the immune system rather than trying to treat the symptoms. I have a tea designed to boost the immune /respiratory system which has Echinacea, Lemon Myrtle, Astragalus ,calendula and Siberian Ginseng which you can mix with honey - You can drink the tea yourself if you want to boost your immune system too and put the dregs - the tea leaves - over the dog's food.
  15. Excellent - but remember anything you can see is usually also about the immune system so let him eat the slops left over after you brew it - mix it with his food. It does marvellous things internally for the immune system and it's why they even use it for HIV in this way too. Cant do any harm
