great shots everyone! ish: I love her head tilt - not sure how she isn't pretty though - how old is she? bec: I love that black background with Asha! and a cute little bottom lip :D I'm really unimpressed with week 4 but have to go with it 'cause I had no other ideas that I tried :D just playing around - I've always enjoyed watching the summer of tennis and I've pretty much given up on 52 weeks for my others, I take the photos just can't get them organised edit: pic changed http location
-
Jamie's week 3: just a retrieving tennis ball shot, she lifts her head high just as she comes in to drop it at my feet or throw it to roll at my feet, or right into my hand I am so far behind, do plan on uploading Texas, Chester and Lotus' week 2 and 3 as soon as I get them sorted, hopefully tomorrow
-
this is fantastic! Love it
-
Jamie's Week 2: kelpie riding on the back of a lawnmower eta Texas Week 2: trip to the beach ;) Chester Week 2: Lotus Week 2: typical lab finds the water irresistable - she's just about to lie down frog-leg style ... as a side note I found it tricky to edit these beach shots through lightroom and ended up using DPP - the Canon software to maintain the natural colours.

nice photos everyone just adding Chester, Texas' and Lotus' pics for week 1: Chester - we went for a bike ride to the fish'n'chip shop, and that's a skateboarder just out of shot he's gawking at Lotus Texas

6th - just decided to start throwing treats at Lotus, see if she couldn't catch them, and me trying to catch her catch them ... neither of us did that well, about a 90% attritition rating for me ... and Lotus couldn't have caught as many as I thought she had because Chester came along after we were done and gobbled a few missed ones lying around -
hey yeh! that would be an advantage for the DOL 52 weeks group! I've so struggled in deciding which dog to go with this year
-
I did it 2009 with Chester. And I sent out a bunch of invites to some people I know here & there at the end of the year. They've been struggling with the whole idea of keeping it diverse, yet intimate and friendly. The restrictions are not arbitrary, but more thought out with consideration for the community feel of the group, which is what makes it a pleasure to be involved with! I'm sorry Great idea to make a DOL 52 weeks for dogs!! Can I join? Anyway, I've decided this year I'll be doing it with Jamie eta: Jamie's week 1

so many fantastic photos once again! justice shades (man, I think I've been spelling your name wrong this whole time :D ): the bus driver pic is great! and flying duster your white poodle has the most softest gorgeous fluffy pink ears and the foxtel from bottom-up is cool 4th January This was a gift for Lotus when I first brought her home. I brought it into daily rotation recently, and noticed how much I love the colour of it - kinda peachy, pinky, orange (I guess like a lobster would be if it were furry? ) and Lotus and the Lobster go really well together :p and I don't like to do more than one shot but I think the lobster needs to be viewed in it's full-sized colourful beauty :D -
Storm is a beautiful dog! Trixie is so funny upside down
-

I hadn't planned on taking Texas for a walk this morning. While I was getting the collars and leads on the others he came over expectantly, so I went with his desires and took them all to the park I was going to go with a "pack" shot, but decided I like this one of Texas by himself much better -

This is a great thread! Loving the pics so far ---- Sorry, I've gone for the top 3 of each of my dogs (except for Jamie and Lotus to limit to the 1 post) Chester's top 3 ... took the easy way out, and searched via flickr's most interesting ... if I was to decide I'd be here 'til the end of 2010 ... I'm sure I'd have different ones to this though Texas Jamie (top 2) hmm hard to find ... Lotus (top 2)

I'll give it another go this year. And again, I'll be sticking to dog pics, and I'm gonna try and post each day oh, and I added all those with flickr accounts to my contacts -
it was just one of those conversations I remember you having with rocco at one stage That took me forever to do too! Although, I have had a little "what I would call success" with selective colour ... I'm not much of a fan either, to be honest, was just going for the Christmas theme, and well, you know the grass is pretty horrible. Okay, enough justifying a bad decision
-
crikey, I use vignetting all the time, yesterday I thought if I can see it easily in the thumbnail or small version I should cut back or something, sometimes I've deliberately left an obvious vignette for whatever reason? though, lets have a look at my last flickr posted pics shall we? I don't think I've learnt a thing a white and black vignette on this one of Texas yup, this one has a vignette too another obvious one ... oh and some of that lovely, and fav of Ash's colour selection to give this real charm okay, this is ridiculous, looks like I use it all the time I knew there was a reason I read this thread ah, 1 in 5 hasn't had a vignette applied may be time to learn how to use lr better, or get photoshop or something

Everyone's pics are great! I haven't done any kind of decorating so far, soon ... I can't believe you did that JS! - what time of the day, were there many people around? Well worth the effort, I particularly like the 4th one down and love your 2 bec - fantastic addicted2gold - too cute these are from Christmas photo shoot #2 - aiming for a little more Christmas spirit than the 1st shoot, I pulled out last years' toys ... not sure how well it went Chester really didn't want much to do with it, but this is what he does best: full eye-contact and the smiling toy in the background out of focus (he must be the center of attention!) Texas was good, he loves to hold onto toys Jamie didn't have to even move At least the toy is smiling and Lotus watched Texas, and posed brilliant -

what a gorgeous pic of your parrot Ripley! I had a practise shoot a week or so back, I'm getting pressure to do a Christmas card with the 4 of them together, but my inspiration/creativity is all run out and the only one enjoying herself
