  1. They are hard to find in Oz - so you have done a good job finding somne - but these are a lot more expensive. The last lot from the US worked out at $4.50 for a small, $5.50 for a medium and $6.50 for a large + $5.70 postage. I guess if people didn't want to wait for a bulk order then its a good alternative.
  2. Has anybody seen this before? Any thoughts or comments?
  3. I crossed to the dark side once - didn't stay long though
  4. Just got a verbal text message - everybody is still at presenations - Alex made the MA final finishing 2nd in the heat - he got a refusal in the final. Snaz also made the MA final and went clear. Goodonya Caffy
  5. What a poor excuse - its a 3 hour plane trip - and have to say the dogs cope much better with it than we do Airfares to Adelaide were $109 recently which is dirt cheap. Have to say the first time you do it is the hardest from then on you realise how easy it is and you will never look back
  6. Then you'll have more time to (attempt to) fix my handling Daisy is pooped and didn't bark on the way home at all Thank you so much for all your time this afternoon Sandi, especially as I'm quite sure I talked your ear off I've shown mum some pics of your tollers and she really likes them I would love to spend a week with you Huski - picking on you morning noon and night - you might hate me at the end of it but by George your handling skills will have improved I thought I was going to need to check your bum bag before you got in the car to go home - just in case you had kidnapped Scoota Thanks for letting me have a play with Daisy - she is a delight Now I want to see a video of your finishes sometime soon PS I am coming back in November
  7. Lucky I didn't post how I really felt BIG C/T ValleyCBR
  8. She gets to jump 500. And no, will won't be entering one soon, considering the fact that only on Thursday night, doing a 3 jump lead out, she missed went round the second jump I wasn't feeling it that night, so abandoned the agility equipment and practiced some obedience Ness - with agility, I'm just doing it for fun, I'm not taking it seriously like obedience So I won't wait til perfection to enter agility, but will be waiting a bit longer than a couple of months BIG C/T Rubystar - glad to see your brains are ruling
  9. ValleyCBR I can't believe you are saying this - how long have you been doing agility and how long has Rubystar been doing it??? There is no way Ruby would be ready to trial yet and YES it can hurt if she is entered when she is not ready. Sorry going to fight you with this one - get back in your box!!!!!!!
  10. Rubystar - go and practice a sit stay will ya! I am on remedial stay training next Monday and i need somebody to practice with Actually thinking of missing my flight home - I love it here
  11. Eager Beaver - It would be too early yet The finals would be run after lunch and then they would have to wait for presentations. I know Caffy's red boy Alex made one of the masters finals and Bedazzled got a clear round in open but wasn't in the top 7.
  12. Beans was in melt down when I left after picking up some foreign food which she was obviously allergic to. Within 24 hours she had ripped holes in her chest inner thigh and foot and was continually scratching poor baby. It is now a case of waiting for it to pass and managing the syptoms as best we can. So I really really know what you are talking about. Best of luck on Anzac day - any chance of increasing the anti-histamines for 48 hours to see if that helps?
  13. Addictive isn't it So are you planning on doing anything during the week - cos you know once a week isn't enough
  14. Erny - I am not sure this will work as I see this as a behaviour chain - he is allowed to bark and gets rewarded when he stops you are still allowing the barking in the first place????
  15. Woo Hoo Amypie - what a away to join the thread Wishing you the best of luck for the trial this morning and the finals this arvo - go gettem girl What nice ribbons as well
  16. Best of luck and if I had read this earlier I could have come and watched. Let us know how you get on
  17. Steady feet games applies for both front and back feet so if she moves remove the food and start again.
  18. Thanks for coming up and saying Hi and letting us meet your kids its great to put names to faces. Hey TerraNik have you ever thought of doing agility - the way your kids jumped out of the crate and came running to you was very impressive - a 500 jump would be no trouble whatsoever and I forgot to ask whens your next obedience trial?
  19. Mason's mum - sorry to tell you but if he shouldn't have chicken been or lamb than liver treats would definitely be off the menu. Try sweet potato (raw) for training treats.
  20. Have arrived in Brisbane and I am now looking after a flock of tollers - 7 including Scoota. Scoots has already been for his first swim in the dam - funny fellow he was - he hasn't swum for 18 months and that was in the Aqua Doggies Pool - anyway he stood on the edge of the dam - his tail wagging madly, standing on his toes - he looked at me - looked at the water and then launched himself and started swimming - just wish I got it on video. He is now sound asleep at my feet laying next to his dad who is 13 yeard old and not in the best of health. Looking forward to the next couple of days lots of R&R SparkyTansy - you should have said hi at the last trial - it would have added another piece to the DOL jigsaw Best of luck to everybody competing at the State Agility Champs this weekend
  21. Just a quickie to say we have arrived safe and sound in Sydney. Last night we trained at the Hills Club - wow a great set up and really well organised. Unfortunately a lady fell over and broke her ankle in 3 places :p Brookie and Scoota completed their last training sessions before tomorrow - it was cool and they both had new batteries in. Scoota remembered what dog in the box was :D and his gloves were lovely Must run as time is about to run out and my bum is getting numb sitting on this non padded chair at the internet cafe - maybe that way you wont stay too long playing on the computers
  22. Longdog looks like my Lexi Well we have arrived in Sydney and driving is a nightmare - between Bedazzled and me we have no sense of direction whatsoever. We took a run to the showgrounds in preparation for tomorrow and what should have been a 30 minute round trip - took us 2 hours ;) Still hopefully we now have it sussed for tomorrow, oh and tolls suck! $3.80 for about a 1km trip. Last night we trained at the Hills Club - which is really well run. We managed to do some open and UD training and wouldn;t you know it - both boys worked like a charm :D Vettinng is between 6-7am tomorrow, competiting will go all day and then we fly out first thing Thursday morning. So will next post from Brisbane. Cider is on the menu for tonight :p :cheer: PS - Zoe has trimmed Ciders ears and has her retrieving doekkens - Thanks Mate!
  23. Just wanted to stop by and say thanks to Mirawee for the yummy chocolate chip bickies she handed around this morning - they were delicious Bedazzled and I are flying out first thing in the morning for the Sydney Royal - the competition is on Wednesday - so fingers crossed the boys do better than they both did today
