Day 7 - my new face mask (all these shots were pretty terrible coz of low light)

my god those eyelashes! he's going to have the girls falling all over him with those!

and a purple bush on the way home from the bus stop and some daisy's ??

lensbaby lens arrived yesterday, these are the first few shots i've taken lots of learning to do with the manual side of things, and have to figure out how to use the flash manually now the box it came in the snail in our fish tank keyboard at work

and day 6 took the camera to work and got this: (sorry stole someone elses idea) and on the way home from bus stop, took a few shots of different flowers/bushes lining one of the yards on the walk home and liked these 2 the most

day 5 LENSBABY ARRIVED, so now, all pics for the rest of month i am going to try and use the lensbaby. attempt 1 - of the box it came in and attempt 2 - of the snail in the fish tank (i found this pic hard to get right with the exposure, due to low room light, bright tank light, and trying to figure out manual settings using the f2 lens - there are discs for the different f's that go in the lens using magnets, and the rest were downstairs)

day 4 lucy scrapbooked card (with bookmark inserted in the pocket) that i received from a friend in sweden. it arrived jan 4th

ok i've taken more pics off my camera to upload here day 3 - pics of the basically full moon that was shining brightly through my door and inspired me to go out and take a few shots of it using different trees in the yard to not make it so boring. these 2 are my faves. i don't have a tripod yet (must get one!) so quite a few came out blurry, so was happy with these

from today, my pics will be taken with my lensbaby which arrived in the mail today. had a short play tonight, but am pretty tired, and it's not the best lens for night (i can't use my built in flash) so will have a bigger fiddle on the weekend

my lensbaby lens arrived today. still getting used to it but i'll post things in here in the coming days

i haven't posted any for a couple of days. will try and catch up in the next few days. just wanted to come and say the pic i added day 1 was featured on redbubble's art and photography page today here

i cheated because i took this a couple of days ago after the rain had stopped. was just mucking around in the backyard, testing camera on manual settings and fluked this shot (with autofocus, as i was hoping the front was going to be in focus lol) planned to take a pic when i went out tonight and am too tired to take an upload another pic around the house eta, the pic wasn't edited at all. only editing program i have at the moment is iphoto and it doesn't do much lol

do we have to upload each day, or can we do 2 or 3 days at time? lol not sure i can put in enough effort to get pics off camera and upload each day (still trying to figure out all this picture stuff with my macbook and iphoto lol

thanks kirislin dad was like 'you should check these things with me before you buy stuff' lol mum, dad and i all have the same model of dslr too (why mum and dad have 1 each, i will never know tho) and mum's got a really cool macro lens i'm hoping to be able to use soon
