  10. I personally really like kids, quite frequently i am around many children in play centres with my godson. I do however see some really nasty pasty kids. One child bit my godson he came home from child care with bite marks on his shoulder, he is nearly 2yrs old and been going for only 1 month I also have absolutely nothing against those who do not want children or like them, thats their choice, and i find it insulting those who have said they do not like children are being judged for the fact they do not like children.
  11. Just thought it would be fun telling others the weird/silly/funny things your dogs are facinated with. Or even things they bring inside :) Tonight my 6 yr Golden Retriever decided it would be fun to bring a large cricket inside the house and let it loose in my bedroom. Cricket has still not been found... If it were a moth i wouldnt worry so much. she is rather facinated by bugs, insects etc but wont go near spiders (she thinks like me in the spider department!) We have very few moths around as she eats them well actually, catches them kills them with her paw then rips the wings off and leaves the body lying on the floor.
  12. Bruce is a pug isnt he? I'll try hard to beg manager to give me the day off so i can come :)
  13. If i am not rostered on to work i'll come :)
  14. Thanks for the help. I'll see how we go, knowing my older dog (who will be 7 in september) she will be gentle with puppy but also able to put up with a silly puppy. Charlotte is silly herself at times so hopefully she takes puppy in her stride and we wont need to seperate much, unless they are playing a bit rough! Whoa Halo indeed was the escape artist. I remember going to see the litter when halo was 7 weeks and she was the only one who escaped the puppy room
  15. question for you all.. i work 8 hour days and not able to come home for lunch to check puppy - i only get half hour lunches so no time to come home. I plan to take a week off to settle puppy into the family. Mum is home during the day most days, however if she needs to go out she would be gone only an hour here or there. My questions are when i go back to work, should i have her in a puppy pen or with my older dog inside? and in regards to a pen, i have about 3 of the bunnings crates, would that be fine if i set one of those up with some toys, water and a bed for her when she cannot be supervised?
  16. thanks Erny, how do i administer it? dumb question but i actually dont have a clue
  17. yes dont have favourites, at least til you know which is yours then you can love the one you are getting more for it being a surprise How cuddly are they all!
  18. How did you like the puppies? I seen them last week and boy are they soooooooooooooo adorable!!! I am thinking mine will be either black collar girl (cream), yellow collar girl (tri colour) or orange collar girl (tri colour). Did you get photos? ;)
  19. bathed her in it for the first time yesterday - i have not previously ever bathed her in malaseb so impossible for that to be making her skin worse if shes never been bathed in it til yesterday. didnt do anything but release all the flakes up, but today cant see much flakes on her coat but of course when i look at her skin theres flakes everywhere.
  20. Forgot to update here, she's seen the vet who believes the skin is a side effect of the dosage of Macrolone. So that's been reduced and also bathing in malaseb twice weekly to see if there's a difference.
  21. Lappies are great dogs. The only thing better than one dog is two dogs of course  I used to always have 2 dogs but have been a 1 dog household for 3 years now. My goldie hasnt been a well girl most of last year and a few other ailments with her knees were happening. Now shes doing very well healthwise i have chosen perfect timing to add another doggy to the household awww a Poodle? I work with poodles just about daily (i am a dog groomer).
  22. They certainly are absolutely adorable puppies. very excited would be an understatement
