I love Jimbo. He reminds me so much of Dee. The photo shoot was a great success I do think. And Sid is hilarious.

Week 7/52 My rather bad attempt at doing a Valentines Day pose with my Gorgeous Loves Oh the drool Miss Dee

OMG there are some beautiful photos this week. Brilliant effort Guys. I love the sunrise photos Ozstar. And Tay you could make the ugliest dog look stunning.

Oh poor Jake. He is right, the Universe is against him Dee came to water rescue two weekends ago and did brilliantly. She had a beautiful brown female Newfie come up to her, but instead of snapping or biting, she turned her head away and looked at me. I was so rapt and proud that I gave her a cheese le snack as a reward. Then, walking to the local market last weekend, we saw a male Labrador up ahead with the owners talking to some people. We approached on a short lead with her watching. They said that their dog was friendly, and it was a male. Dee is usually great with large male dogs, so I allowed her to meet and greet. She did the usual sniff, moved to the side, then snapped at him. No contact. No aggression. Some days I just do not understand her.

That was brilliant. I loved the choice of music. Very fitting considering the action captured. All I can say is thank God that Ronin has a full coat. Tigger can really hold on. :laugh:

Oh hell yes. About 20-30% are fit for public viewing. Let me just say that a 32G SD card is brilliant, and thank God and the Universe for digital cameras. Developing film used to cost me a fortune.

They have to get their stories from somewhere, and sometimes we need to do their research for them by telling them about possible story leads. You can only ask. :D

I think that it might be a Chuckit Water Skimmer Flying Disc for dogs. I found the Durafoam ones were to light and Zeph was to hard on them.

Jake is so not getting wet in that photo.

Zeph is also weird in that you can have several identical Chuckit balls, but he will ignore all of them except the one that he was playing with. He can tell which one has been freshly slimed and will only retrieve that one. The way to get him to swap is if Dee steals a different one, then he wants the one that she has, until he discovers the previous ball.

I have discovered another Chuckit toy that Zeph loves to retrieve - a Chuckit disc that skims on the water and floats. It is brilliant. Thanks Staffyluv and Yonjuro. I do love taking photos of my crazy obsessed hounds. Huski and DDO, the Chuckit range is awesome. Both dogs can get the squeaks out of the Kongs and iSqueaks. When you look at the iSqueak balls you can see tiny teeth marks only on the side where the squeak is, not on the other side. They either push it into the ball or they break it in half and it just rattles around in the ball. I so need to try out the Chuckit Kick Fetch balls as well. Ruth takes some amazing photos. I love them Staffyluv. And that is a fantastic photo DiscoDobe. Alibi how gorgeous is your little dog. I usually only think of JRT as the small ball loving dogs.

Strangely enough Zeph has a preference for the Chuck It orange and blue balls. Next favourite is iSqueaks, then Kong squeaky tennis balls. He will choose the Chuck It over all else when given a choice.
